Moving to Phase 0 - all citizens are quarantined to their homes; all will be shot on sight If seen in public.

Well we’re in Phase 2 with restrictions.
It’s not going to a full blown reopen. Restaurants probably at 50-75% capacity. Interested to see about bars- if they open probably at 25%. Schools can fully reopen. And allows for limited number of fans in stands at LSU/Saints games.

This would have to be considered a win tbh.

They cannot keep bars closed forever.
These people are losing everything.
Just shut down bars that don't comply with the rules, don't punish everyone.

He's got to go to Phase 3 so Latoya will let the Saints play in N.O.

So we are going to "move to Phase 3" but its a typical lawyer semantics game as to the definition of Phase 3.
Would be my guess. Just like we're in "Phase 2" right now, but not really.

I agree. The entire reason we’re in this shite is because of the Tigerland bars.
There were very particular rules bars had to follow to reopen. The 2 biggest ones were no dancing & guests must remain seated in the bar. I haven’t been to Tigerland in over a decade but I’m gonna go out on a limb and say they don’t even have chairs in the bars to sit.

It always amazes me how many people are itching to go to a bar right now. Of all the restrictions it’s both the easiest to justify and also simplest to go about life without (minus employees of bars)
There are like 10 things I’d be pointing to first

Well my bar days are over but for a ton of people it’s not... somebody has to set an example. JBE has his chance today........

That's what I'm saying. Don't give a shite about bars being open from a customer standpoint but it is severely unfair to the business owners. We encouraged thousands to protest and riot in the streets but can't sit down and a have a beer. None of it makes rational sense. It's all unscientific.

I haven't stepped foot in a bar in years, but its retarded that they are being picked on the most in all of this

I'm not going to any bars. But there are thousands of owners and employees whose livelihood is being destroyed right now.
Another month or two of being closed and you will see thousands of businesses permanently shutdown.

I haven’t been paying attention anymore......how is phase 3 different?

They just let a handful more people into restaurants.

Want to see this also. Amazing how many people are willing to have their movement and activities curtailed because its not ultimately that inconvenient. Not matter how stupid the premise is that we are shutting down businesses and economy to begin with.

Why? It's an easy way for people to let off some steam and hang out with friends, i.e. a way for life to seem more normal.

Why? Is transmission of COVID more likely in a bar than a restaurant?

People don't need to eat out either but that doesn't mean restaurants should be closed. Thousands of people are being told they can't work because their job has been labeled the scapegoat for transmission.
