Bench 13@135 (170 TM)

These rear laterals are no joke. I never do them.

Just finished squats. Almost died.

345 x 3 x 13
Did 345 x 2 x 16 the first Pressure Cooker, so increased from 32 to 39 reps.

Not sure how I'm gonna have any energy left to do bench.

I'm wiped out. Took about 10 min break before warming up for bench. Only got 10 x 3 x 215. Failed after 2 reps on 11th set.

I kinda want to skip school today, but Back Arms University has a strict attendance policy.

Just finished squats.

13 sets @ 250lbs

Now I have a badass leg pump. Only 1 set less than the doubles.

On to bench. Looks like I need to squat harder. 15 sets @ 200lbs.

On to the rear raises. Oh my. Rear raises were a bitch. Only used 10lb DBs, too.

About to start skullcrushers. 55lbs. The last 5 on the 4th set were tough.

About to take a walk. You men have a nice weekend. We're halfway there.

Def the hardest workout of Squatober so far IMO. Those AMSAPs just beat me up. But we've completed week 2, only 2 more weeks to go, then it's Halloween PR Party time.

I've yet to use my belt all month. We'll see how I feel tomorrow about that decision today. Those last handful of sets were tough.

I did 5’s on an ez curl. What’s that almost 40?

Just depends. I weighed my EZ curl bar and it's 15lbs. I stuck a pr of 10's on each side. I've never used one lighter than mine (for 2" center hole plates), but I have used some that were heavier. I just have a cheap one I bought at Academy Sports last year.

I did the math wrong. I think the one I use is like 19 lbs. so it was most 30 I think.

Agree about that workout. I haven’t felt my legs like this before. Tomorrow and the next day might be rough.

I haven’t been wearing a belt either. I’ve kinda forgot about it. Which I believe is a good thing.

Round 2 of the Pressure cooker done, a day late.

Last time, for the doubles, I got 13 rounds. Decided to shoot for the moon on the triples so my goal was a set every 30 seconds to hit 20 sets. I ended up hitting 15. I was so gassed I didn't even attempt a set the last 2 minutes, lol.

Goal for bench was to get 10 sets. Ended up getting 11.

No crazy soreness for me, but I usually get sore around 36 hours after workout. Working out every day has really made the “soreness schedule” get weird.

My back and legs feel like they're in shock. They don't really hurt yet, but they're fatigued. I'm sure by this evening my legs will pay me back for yesterday.

My chest is already getting sore. These two days off will be appreciated.

Finished the 5k in under 30. My legs are throbbing. My legs felt super heavy towards the end.

It's times like these that I'm actually glad the folks we bought this house from were an older couple. They have those toilets that are a little higher to help old folks get up and down. And apparently to help Squatober participants as well.

FYI, they just posted guidelines to determine if you should increase your training max on their IG.

Steps in. Legs felt used but not terrible. I've been really upping the protein and I think that has helped in a big way.
