Yep you could argue that he stole money from his teammate Marshall by dragging this out. Lots of timing missed between him and Brennan.
He does this in February Marshall is the focal point from then on and has a higher chance of showcasing himself

I have no issue with Chase leaving. I have a huge issue with the timing of the decision to leave. He’s fricked his teammates. That’s a low character move.
