Yep. The fact they took the deal to get jack shite in revenue from the Big 10 for the first 6 years says all you need to know. They are finally a "full" member now (which is another dumbass discussion for some other time) so now that the network money and full payouts are rolling in they're stuck to it.

Why not they could still play. Just like the other SEC ACC games. Only thing is the ACC made it basically where a school couldn't afford the buyout.

Depends on how written out the contract is for a situation like this, but Nebraska could easily argue that the contract has been broken by the league not allowing them the ability to play football and earn that money.
