To all the posters on the black man's side. You are the problem. High functioning stupid fricks like y'all is what's wrong with this country.

If the black dude did nothing wrong, then he can have his day in court. You don't ignore the cop in your face giving you orders, not comply and then expect things to end well.

You people are stupid. I'm sorry, but you are stupid. Your brains are fricked up.

I'm not on anyone's side

But I strongly disagree that if you're iffy on whether potentially innocent people have to comply with insane directions of batshit crazy police officers - you're "what's wrong with this country."

I'm sorry, but if that is what you see, then the lense you view life thru is damaged.

Why is it so difficult to understand for African Americans to just comply during traffic stops?

The driver got what he deserved, but Robocop could’ve done everything the same way without all the narration.

Was it actually a legal request/order?

If not, that officer was far from patient.

Yes, "step out of the car" is a perfectly reasonable and legal order from a cop during a traffic stop, you jackass.

DOUBLY so when the cop that pulled you over because your tags are expired learns that your license is suspended, too. What, do you think they're just going to let that guy drive off in his improperly registered car with his suspended license?

He's getting out from behind that steering wheel at that point. Whether or not he has help is completely up to him.

I don't blame you. I blame God for making you. It's not your fault if you're born fricked in the head. It's our burden in life to put up with people like you.

Because they are taught their entire lives that someone owes them something. My dad taught me that nobody owes me shite. The government doesn’t owe me a check, a boss doesn’t owe me a job, and a cop doesn’t owe me a free pass when I frick up. Take Goddamn responsibility in your life, and it’s amazing how much control you have over it.

Once he had reason to remove him from the car, he should have done it immediately after he refused to comply.

However, training be damned, I would have enjoyed it if the video showed the doors strapped shut while the tow truck hooked up and took him, and the car, to jail.

He said, in the 6 page thread that's 95% on board with the officer's actions.

I laughed

I'm going to take a wild guess that you're not exactly bearing much of our societal burden

I'm not on anyone's side either but all he had to do for about 2 minutes was comply with authorities orders. Let's assume he was scared the cops were going to kill him like most blacks want you to believe they are. Instead of saying the same thing over and over again in his camera, with the cop inviting him to put it all on camera, why not ask " sir, can you please tell me what I did wrong for the camera" or something to that effect?

He was trying to be a trouble maker, not be a reasonable adult.

I think the driver is a punk who was looking for the police to confirm his beliefs about prejudice in policing. He got what he wanted (arguably forced it).

But I nonetheless take issue that police are sacrosanct, particularly when acting irrationally.

I do think the practical “best of two bad options” is to comply, even when a cop is in the wrong. But I don’t object to the idea that having to make the choice is troubling and not what we want from a liberal society.
