So is the black guy. He called other cops to the scene before the video because the black dude isn't complying during a perfectly legal traffic stop.

They both are. Why do we only ever talk about one side in this situation

“Watch this show” to the camera. Won’t lie, I laughed a lot.
He shouldn’t have done that though. Should just remain professional and avoid the controversy.

Not really, no different than you siding with fricking criminals.

That turd was never getting from behind the wheel. Please tell us how that should have ended without tasing and/or dragging that perp from the car.
Deescalating the situation should always be top priority. The last resort should be violent forceful compliance, and even at that point there should be re-explanation as to why they are being detained, and that if they do not comply they will be forced out of the vehicle and cuffed. Follow through with that statement, but without beating the hell out of someone who's clearly not a threat. If the suspect THEN becomes aggressive and violent, the officer and all of his back up can do whatever is necessary to detain.
That's off the top of my head.
Don't get in someone's face and threaten to beat their arse, don't count to 3, don't look at the camera excited because you get the opportunity to beat the frick out of someone, and don't beat up a non-violent perp while yelling "you like that" because you're frustrated. About the only thing that cop could've done worse to handle that situation is shoot the guy in the face and sprinkle some crack on his corpse.
And for the record, that driver is an absolute dumbass for not complying. Everyone in America knows when it's you VS a cop, the cop wins. Better to let the courts handle whatever grievance you may have rather than make your situation worse. I'm just saying, that cop was equally a dumbass for the way he handled it.

Good lord people, why do you all think it's controversial to have the opinion that a police officer should be able to control their temper and not enjoy inflicting violence on others?
I've seen them crack windows and pull those white sovereign citizens out if their car for not complying during a legal fricking traffic stop.
I'm sorry, but these frick heads are why my fricking insurance is so damn high.

So you think that cop did all that in just a few seconds? He had asked several times, the shithead refused to comply, he calls back up, gives the shite head more chances. What do you want them to do after that? They didn't beat him up, he had a tiny scrape from being pulled out of the vehicle.
You can go look all of this shite up.

How long do you think they were there before the video started?
My guess is cop talking shite is the supervisor. More than likely one of the other cops is just backup that was close. The other one probably tried and had to call the supervisor because the dude was noncompliant. If he would have just taken his ticket, none of this would have happened.
Yet this dumbfrick wasted and ton of peoples time over nothing.

Seems like a guy that wouldn't comply. I would like to know what led up to this happening though. Cop obviously should have been more professional, but he didn't do anything wrong in that video.
Posted on 7/16/20 at 8:39 pm to HogBalls
What’s the rest of the story? Did the cop tell him why he was being stopped? I sure hope he did. Because if he didn’t to do it is going to get paid even more
Posted on 7/16/20 at 8:43 pm to UnluckyTiger
quote:with this statement, thestate police super all but guaranteed that the guy will get paid.
State police Superintendent Col. Gary T. Settle commented on the video and the behavior of Trooper C. Hewitt. “The conduct displayed by Trooper Hewitt during the course of the traffic stop is not in agreement with the established standards of conduct required of a Virginia trooper. Nor is it characteristic of the service provided daily across the Commonwealth of Virginia by Virginia State Police personnel,” he said in a statement

So this guy had a suspended license and drugs in his car.
No, the cop that puled him over gave the ol' "I smelled marijuana" claim but no drugs were ever found.

That trooper did a line of coke shortly before all this happened. There’s no other explanation.
Posted on 7/16/20 at 8:50 pm to HogBalls
Should have just shot him and got it over with.

Lol yeah that guy was ridiculous. Shitty intimidation tactics. I would've laughed.
Also I would've just gotten out of the car.

Just saw that. I thought the cop just had a huge sack to pull that move recently. I think this would have been less divisive in 2019.
Apparently it was in April of 2019.
