Eh, I think Georgia is the epitome, but to each his own.

Kansas is bad, and deserves to be on this list

Also the two worst state drives in the US are 70 across Kansas and 80 across Nebraska.

Coincidentally where the most significant amount of east-west traffic drives.

You would rather shoot yourself than drive either of those.

So they get a bad imagine from lots of people.

Epitome of the worst? I can't stand Georgia but I don't think that it belongs in the top 10 worst states. Top 15, maybe.

The writer most likely has never been to any state on the list if this is in his/her bottom 10.

6. DelawareIt's hard to get to, as you can pretty much only enter by car via south from Philadelphia.

Never mind the population centers of DE are right on I-95.

Kige Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska.

#1 Reason people stop when driving in those states is being caught in a small town speed trap.

4. Oklahoma

Disclaimer: Oklahoma City is a cool city. It boasts a very nice, clean downtown, and the residents are welcoming. But that's basically all the entire state has going for it. Eastern Oklahoma is really, really depressing to drive through: one casino after another, surrounded by scrubby trees and dirt that may culminate in the ugliest scenery in the whole country. Then you hit OKC, and after that, it's mile after mile of empty prairie. If you're looking for something in Oklahoma, Texas does it better.

You’ve never been to Oklahoma? Eastern Oklahoma is part of the Ozarks and I can’t recall the last time I’ve seen scrubby trees and dirt?

You must be someone that thinks the bar scene is the end all. I've only been to Yellowstone so far, but i'll take the scenery of nature over any city landscape in the US. Now ancient cities in Europe are another thing.

It's Red Bluff aka the Little Grand Canyon outside Morgantown, off the Pearl River.

7. Idaho

Sorry, Idaho, but youg're the least interesting and most backwards of the Mountain West states. Boise is cool and up-and-coming, but the rest of Idaho is difficult to access for travelers and honestly has some freakin' weird arse residents. To top it off, there's not much to do here.

The list as a whole isn’t far from the truth except replace Idaho with Iowa.

Eastern Oklahoma isn’t the part to call out as boring.
