I honestly pity the poor, small minded fool who compiled this list. They’re obviously someone who has lived their entire life living inside the bubble of a major city which has given them a false sense of the word that prevents them from enjoying the larger world that exists outside what they can conceive. They will go their entire life without ever knowing all the wonder and splendor of the larger world they’re too closed minded to see. So sad.

7. Idaho

Sorry, Idaho, but you're the least interesting and most backwards of the Mountain West states. Boise is cool and up-and-coming, but the rest of Idaho is difficult to access for travelers and honestly has some freakin' weird arse residents. To top it off, there's not much to do here.

You’re either an idiot or Idaho has successfully kept its secrets from you.

*Looks to see where Alabama is ranked and doesn't see it*

We have pretty beaches, mountains, lakes, and urban areas so I guess those help us.

The most interesting thing that happened in Kansas was probably back in the 1850s

November 15, 1959...when the Clutter family (4) was murdered in their farm house while sleeping. Truman Capote wrote the first real non-fiction crime novel about it, titled “In Cold Blood”.

That’s a pretty big deal. In Cold Blood was the nations top selling non-fiction novel for a long time.

1) I love that gif.

2) Alabama has good food, mostly friendly people, is easy to travel into and out of, good beaches, underrated scenery, and to top it off, you get all of that for a low price. Alabama shouldn't be defined by an unsavory history.

Trash the Great Plains states all you want but they are probably the only area left in the country where people work hard and take pride in it. Yeah it’s pretty desolate but they have found a way to carve out a living.

I have been to Oklahoma about 9 or 10 times and I can state unequivocally there is not one attractive looking woman in the state. And I’ve looked!

You know what you call a beautiful woman in Oklahoma? A visitor.

Your opinions display a juvenile shallowness, turning a blind eye to worlds of scenery, entertainment, and enrichment that you are unaware of, or discount completely.

If you are a car guy, Indiana is steeped in motor sports of all kinds. The landscape is dotted with race tracks that pretty much cover the state. And probably no state outside of Kentucky loves basketball as much as Indiana.

Idaho is an incredibly beautiful state, with unbelievable opportunities for hunting and fishing.

And have you ever looked at pictures of some of the whitetail deer that Kansas grows? Kansas is a Mecca for deer hunters across this country.

Kansas is bad, and deserves to be on this list. I like killing big deer there, but would never, ever visit there, or take the family there for any Vacation, or event. Had a job interview there in late 90’s around Wichita and they were asking a lot of money, more than anywhere in the Country for said Position. Interviewed there, and immediately knew why they were paying more. It’s flat as shite and there’s nothing there to even stop the wind....

Takeaway so far:

Everyone is shitting on me for putting Idaho on this list, but no one disagrees with Kansas being #1
