Jewish people aren’t our problem, and we aren’t their problem.
We're all in this together or we're not. There's no in between.

Silence is only violence against black people not others. Never mind every ethnic group including Irish and Italians has faced some more of racism.
I’d say the Jews might have got the worst of it.

Isn't it an easy argument to make that Jewish people, as a whole, have been discriminated against for a longer period of time and more harshly than black people, as a whole, have been? If so, doesn't that also mean that Jenkins' silence against their historical oppression make him an anti-semite? You know, since silence is violence.

I would say it’s a pretty strong argument.

One thing I'll never understand, is when one marginalized group talks crap about another marginalized group.

I'm sorry, Malcolm, but you can't take such a hard stance on the issue of civil rights and then brush away anti-semitism as a non-issue. He comes off as a hypocritical shithead here.

Ah, the ole’ “we don’t care about racism unless it’s distracted at us” stance. Can you imagine a white athlete saying something like this during recent times?

Most of these athletes are illiterate morons.
it's really hilarious.
desean Jackson makes his ridiculous statement, has to tweet an apology the next day saying "no, that's not what I meant to say, it came out wrong, didn't mean to offend anyone".
Stephen Jackson then makes a statement on desean, and follows that up with the same apology desean issued.... "not what I meant to say, etc."
now Jenkins is getting roasted for his comments on the topic. bet your life the exact same apology is coming from Jenkins.
bottom line- these guys are either racist, and are issuing insincere apologies, or, they are illiterate morons that can't eloquently state their thoughts. My guess is it's both. the fact that these guys are at the forefront of some civil rights movement is laughable.

Not to other black people apparently? Watch the total of people shot in Atlanta, Chicago and New York add up this weekend.

I tend to see that statement as a response to the fake Hitler quote which says Jewish people are responsible for the oppression of black people
How are you this stupid? If Jenkins is gonna take 3 days to think about his response and still even mention Jews, he HAS TO AT LEAST SUGGEST THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OPPRESSION OF BLACK PEOPLE! If not, he is condoning that line of thinking, no matter how smart he thinks he is by simply dismissing it with his “look over here, not here.”
There is probably not a black human being on earth that has anything on and can understand the THOUSANDS of years and generation after generation after generation of vitriol, racism, and murderous hatred that has been wrought against the Jews. The most racist white person alive AT MOST believes blacks are born inferior to them (they’re wrong).
There are tens of millions of people who think that Jews are LITERALLY THE frickING SPAWN OF SATAN, and Israeli Jews have to live their lives knowing that nuclear weapons that could eradicate their entire nation are always pointed at them, and every single day they wake up some radicalized Muslim frick could decide today is the day he straps on a vest and takes a handful of them out at a fricking mall. For simply being born a Jew. And some stupid frick BORN IN AMERICA IN THE LATE 19 GODDAMN 80s has the fricking gall to invoke their plight AT ALL, MUCH LESS DISMISS IT?!!!

These social justice people are clowns
Hypocrisy abounds at almost every single level of their beliefs and they are somehow too blinded to see it.

Malcolm Jenkins in June: “Years ago when we were trying to signal for help, signal for our allies and our white brothers and sisters – people we consider to be friends – to get involved. It was ignored”
today:
“Allow those who were impacted by it to voice their grievances,"
ETA: these are direct quotes

I'm so disappointed the Saints signed this guy back on the team. He's going to be a big distraction to the team all year. I don't know who he thinks he is telling Drew Brees to shut the f****** on Twitter I mean really he can take his arse back to Philly with that crap.

That's exactly what he says in the second sentence where he says Jewish people are not the problem for black people.
I don't know what else you'd take from that sentence other than him disagreeing with the notion that Jewish people are the enemy of black people, which is the message Jackson was pushing.

Saw someone make a Facebook post about this the other day, and was hopeful, but at the end of his post, he blamed all of that on wypipo

Man, “woke” black people sure do seem to hate them some Jews.

OK, now break down the first and third sentences where he dismisses the hatred towards the Jews because "its not the focus right now"
