EcoBoost, aluminum bodies and electric engines?

Please.

I've tried to convince myself to buy Ford vehicles a couple times over the years and just can't do it. They feel cheap to me after you've been in a GMC.

huh? As someone who's owned a Denali and now has a Platinum, I completely disagree. F150s drive better, infotainment system is way snappier and more responsive, interiors are nicer and roomier. Couldn't see myself buying a GM again unless Ford really fricks up

Ford has missed the boat on China and has completely shite the bed on critical new product. Outside of pickup trucks, the blue oval may as well not exist.

And yet Ford's sales in China last quarter were up 3% and GM's were down 5.3%

Toyota trucks can go a year without seeing a mechanic. Ford trucks can't.

I have no loyalty to any vehicle brands but my F150 is close to 4 years old and has never been in the shop other than for oil changes.

60k miles, nothing besides routine maintenance here

ETA: that being said, I've never had any major mechanical issues with any of my vehicles, no matter the brand

Ford fired their successful CEO a couple of years ago because he wasn’t moving fast enough on new technology,
They haven’t caught GM.
The new product/technology development is still in its early stages for GM and Ford.

Ford is coming out with the electric Mach E mustang, a new bronco line, and they will have electric trucks before GM. Why is GM slacking?
You find this important?

Companies are getting way ahead of themselves with electric.
There's not going to be a huge market for a long time.

Tesla Heat Maps

This has been done by one company in less than ten years. Louisiana tends to be very behind in the US in just about everything that is a net positive.

No idea- but I'm pretty sure I'll buy another Silverado in a few years. They've been very good to me for years....

Nothing new. F-150s have outsold Chevys

Also the cheapest which of the three is huge for fleet sales.

All I know is that I’m not spending $50,000 for a truck no matter who makes it. At this point in my life I don’t need a truck when I can spend $25,000 on a Kia Optima that will get me where i need to go with zero worries for years.
A lot of people think that Kia is junk but they can do basically what a Toyota or Nissan or Honda can do.

Okay...

It's only taken about 7 years and Chevy has reintroduced the Blazer.

Chevy trucks have cheap interiors while the f150 and Ram offer better.

Ram is by far the best and it's pretty subjective as to which is better between Ford and Chevy. It's certainly not far and away better or worse for either.

Come back to us and tell us the same thing after you break 100,000 miles on that Kia.

New GM vehicles have terrible transmissions. Yeah I said it
The brand new ones? I know the six speeds that developed with Ford had issues, but I thought they were supposed to be worked out in the most recent truck redesign.

I like the new blazer besides the price. But....they should have made an off road type of blazer

2020 Blazer is made in Mexico. . . . as are many of the Silverados and Sierras.
