I’m in a 2017 Denali Sierra that I prefer aesthetically to anything Ford has on the road.

Friend has the exact same truck 4wheel drive. When he gets above 65 it starts shaking. They call it the Chevy Shake if you google it. Does yours do this? I read it’s the aluminum drive shaft causing it.

gm made one of the best engines in modern history, the 5.3. But managed to screw it up with the cylinder deactivation which caused oiling problems. lets not forget to mention the 4l60E.....and 6L80E two of the most rebuilt transmissions on the planet. if you search up 10 speed transmissions fiat and ford teamed up to develop new technology and gm refused to join in. two of my buddies had tahoes for their wives and they have been nothing but trouble; everything from the transmissions, ac driers failing, air suspension, ball joints, lane departure systems, etc.

i watched a recent motortrend tv show and they ranked the ram 1st, the ford a close 2nd and even with a recent remodel the gm fell in 3rd by a large margin. the worst vehicle i have ever owner was a brand new gmc in 2010, never again.

Come back to us and tell us the same thing after you break 100,000 miles on that Kia.

I have a 2008 Spectra that has over 100,000 miles on it with zero major problems..........

Didn’t GM and Ford team up on the latest 9/10 speed trannies?

Yes, they did.

Hence, his entire post is bullshite.

Most of the mags are amazed at how much better the trans is in GM trucks versus Fords as the hard parts are all the same. The electronic tuning is superior on the GM's.

I prefer a simpler interior with less electronics and technology. I also do not want an electric motor. My 2006 2500HD with duramax has plenty of power and I can go long distances and fill up in 5 minutes. It has electric windows/mirrors, a basic radio, and amazing a/c. Also, simple push button between 2-4 wheel drive options. Other than a newer version down the road and to keep this one as my junk truck, I wouldn't want too many extra fancy electronics.

Chevy/GM refuse to update their interior or technology. Cheap plastic shite interiors and 90’s technology ain’t gonna get the baws to buy anymore. Truck buyers expect their bells and whistles and luxurious interiors. Must be a bunch of dumbasses running the company?

Ford makes a damn good SUV and Truck. Have rented several, Ford is tops. GM ain't too bad.

Eta: and that low-end torque from the eco-boost is unmatched.

That's whats gets me, from the outside looks great, on the inside my gosh. Looks like a 2000s boom box.

I don't drive any of these brands. Funny to me how people get so defensive over their car/truck.

A 2017 Lariat, Platinum, KR, or Limited kills it on the interior all day.

GM is too busy crying about FCA's deals with the unions.

Well, they aren't wrong.

Yes, they are. Kia has massively upped their game and their warranties kick arse compared to other brands. Honda, Nissan, Toyota have all fall way off from where they were and are living off reps that no longer apply.
