My little sister and her family have a condo on the Gulf. She lets us stay for free so I'm glad they own it.

They don't really have it to make money though and don't regularly rent it out. I'd imagine you'd have to own a number of them to make anything substantial.

Name another vacation where you can literally stare at women in their underwear all day and drink as much as you want. I'll hang up and listen.

I'm a damn pack mule every day between chairs, umbrellas, ice chests, etc. I'm not much of a drinker either so I just get down there and sit in silence and exhaustion until time to haul it all back up. But the family loves it so I'm stuck.

I am with you on this one.

I despise the beach. I would rather stay at the pool

Where y’all go? The beach umbrella/chair rentals are well worth the price.

I’m with you. I don’t mind going for a weekend, but week long beach trips are boring. After 2 days of sitting on the beach, I’m ready to do something else. Huge reason why I don’t want to go to a beach destination for our Honeymoon

Orange Beach.
Funny you say that because I actually looked into it on our last day.
$150 for 5 days for 2 people is a sweet deal. Will be my strategy going forward.

I always rent the chairs/umbrellas. In Sandestin if you don’t you’re 100 yards from the water

Different folks, different strokes I guess. I love the beach. I make it a point to go at least once a year. It doesn't have to be a super long vacation either. I've done a lil weekend trip a few times now.

Watching the blue water, with the waves crashing is one of the most peaceful feelings there is personally. So that's 1 major reason I go right there. Getting in the water is fun, but honestly I'm more likely to chill in the sand reflecting on life rather than spend all my time in the water. Also I'm a giant kid at heart so I still enjoy sand castles. Then being able to do other things such as volleyball, frisbee, or even toss a football are all fun as well.

The beach is fun for me. But it is even moreso relaxing and almost therapeutic for me, so I guess that's why I like to go so much.
