Hey, I made a piccata sauce, too!
Chicken thighs with lemon piccata sauce, potatoes and peas. I am very happy with the flavor.

Salmon. Sprouts. Smashed potatoes. Everything got a healthy glug of vinegar on the plate.

Ribs that are taking longer than expected. Kids are hungry. Wife isn’t happy. I’m drinking beer outside

A salad consisting of purple cabbage, carrots and salami in olde vine Italian dressing.
Vons had fresh sweet corn for $0.50 so I've got a couple of those boiling to which I will apply copious amounts of butter and salt.

I'm in this boat at least once a week. I tried to combat it by having the food ready extra early, same boat different paddle.

Not really a “recipe”.
Brown some trinity with S&P, garlic add small can tomato paste, cook till the oil come out, two or three 15 oz cans tomato sauce, heaping tablespoon sugar. Simmer for as long as you want. Longer the better. Taste, add seasoning. Add shrimp, cook to your desired doneness.
Serve over spaghetti.
I use the regular paste and sauce with no herbal flavoring.
