SIAP but honest to christ, someone needs to put these degenerates out of their misery.
quote:
Minnesota mayor calls for city to remove ‘chief’ from city job titles because it’s 'offensive'
quote:
Alicia Kozlowski, Duluth’s community relations officer, told the Star Tribune that “chief” is used as “a racial epithet, and it turns into a microaggression.” She said the city is trying to be proactive about the change before residents ask.

Just saw this on the news getting ready for work. My wife and I just looked at each other and said WTF simultaneously.
3 years to retirement and we are off to Panama, the country of. God bless the young people that will be left with the mess after the left gets elected. It is bound to happen at some point.

Yep. As expected.

Yep. As expected again.

What the frick does this even mean? Seriously, if words hurt someone's fragile feewings that much, how in the cornbread hell can they EVER leave their house?

Shouldn't Fauxchahontas be leading this charge (no pun intended)?

In other words, we “fixed” a problem that didn’t exist... yay for us!!!
What a bunch of clowns.
Pretty soon we won’t be able to use any words at all bc somewhere, someone, used them in a perceived negative way once upon a time and someone might take offense to that word being used.

I demand the elimination of the used of the words
Shortcoming
Shortchange
Shortage
And more
These all imply there's something wrong with being short
And I'm offended!!!!

I am fairly certain the whole “sticks and stones...” speech my parents repeatedly gave me as a child is pretty much out of the window by this point?
Posted on 6/19/20 at 7:17 am to BarackWTrump
And this wasn’t an issue during the Obama presidency because ...?

So am I now a Goodest Operating Officer instead of a COO? Or do I just need to give my title to someone less deserving?
Posted on 6/19/20 at 7:42 am to Manzielathon
Dude, WTF is up with your weird-arse "memes"?
Posted on 6/19/20 at 7:47 am to BarackWTrump
In other news- Minnesota Mayor wants her job title changed to Führer.
Posted on 6/19/20 at 7:49 am to BarackWTrump
I'm stunned. I mean, if this was about some tiny, harmless group of idiots who meet once a month in someone's basement, sure, there's always wackos out there. But the mayor of Duluth, Minn?
Can't the use of "Chief" be considered a compliment, that we recognize this as a term of respect? Why is everything seen as negative?
What can we do, this is crazy. I suggest we each write the to the council and pick apart a word she has used in a speech. Example:
To: Duluth City Council
I was offended by a recent statement from your community relations officer. The word "steer" was used. You appear to be blind and tone deaf to how disturbing this word is to ~ 50% of the population, perhaps due to your lack of awareness of rural life. A "steer" is a bull that has been subject to involuntary genital mutilation. The appearance of this word creates extreme discomfort to humans with male genitals (whether they were born with them, or had them added).
Please amend all occurrences of this offensive word from the historic records of all communications by the city of Duluth.
Hopefully, you will self-censure your use of other obvious violations, like the word "language" (did you assume "English", the language of slave owners in the United States?), and "officer", and "people". I hopefully do not need to explain how hurtful these words are to many of us.
I look forward to a restatement, which would be better phrased as:
I am feeling better already. So much progress!

Why aren’t they changing the name of their football team? Vikings are clearly a white race!
