It doesn't matter if he had been bitten by a rattlesnake. Once restrained, his pleas for help should have been met with a call for medical assistance and basic first aid. Cops are trained to aid with airway, breathing, and circulation.

Ever know someone that overdosed on fentanyl? I do and when they called 911, their report was "having trouble breathing"

Not entirely true. He could have overdosed just as easily that night, or the next.
Cops abuse their power. No one denies that. Just don't think people are going to get the outcome they want.

That doesn't change the fact that the cops were kneeling on the man for 8 minutes. I don't think this will greatly influence their defense. It still lists manner of death as homicide.

It’s crazy the cop was able to knock him out when he was on meth which keeps you awake and then able to kill him when he was on a pain medicine which is supposed to make you die less

The autopsy could show he died of a heart attack before any cop ever laid a hand on him, and the resulting rioting still would have "justified" by the CNN's, etc.
In other words, it doesn't matter how he died or of what, it just appears that he died because of police restraining.
It's not changing anyone's mind at this point.
