Honest question - I do not believe he would have died without the knee in the neck, but would he have died with a knee to the neck WITHOUT a heart condition and the drug abuse? Would he have died if he had complied with the initial requests of the officers and let them arrest him FOR COMMITTING A CRIME without fighting?
Lots of bad decisions on his part led him to that situation. He shouldn’t be dead, and the cop should be fired, but it appears he did exactly what they trained him to do. Cop will walk and the city will pay big money.

As always, the most important thing we need to learn from these situations is to let all of the information come out.
Don’t take the race hustler’s bait. That being said, the cop needs to find a new line of work when he gets out of prison.

So.. he had a heart attack and that made it harder for them to subdue him, hence the knee to the neck, which ultimately killed him?

He would also be alive if he lived a responsible law abiding life. Not only was he on fentanyl, but he had also recently taken meth which explains why he was fighting in the back of a cop car for 10 minutes. Take a look at his violent police record which includes 5 arrests and time in prison. He made poor life choice after poor life choice which ultimately contributed to his own death. Common sense tells all of us dont fight the police or bad things will happen. Unfortunately the media is trying to turn this POS into a martyr and all the followers of this country are buying into it.

Cardiopulmonary arrest isn’t = to a myocardial infarction (heart attack). In fact there would be evidence of an infraction on autopsy if there was a heart attack, so he did not have a heart attack at all. Cardiopulmonary arrest means he stopped breathing and having a heartbeat, as is the case in 100% of deaths.
Either way police are supposed to Be first responders, and assist civilians in medical distress, not ignore their pleas for help. Don’t let your ignorance stop you from a narrative tho.
