It looks really bad. I don't understand why you couldn't restrain him better by using zip ties on his ankles and handcuffing his ankles to his wrist.
It would seem that there are far too many easier and safer ways you could neutralize and immobilize him.
Call for more backup and do what the CERT teams do and chicken wing him.

There’s a less than 50% chance he gets charged. There’s a less than 30% chance that if he’s charged that he’s found guilty. There’s a less than 30% chance that if he’s found guilty that he does a single day in jail.
ETA: this may be an unpopular opinion, but it’s the odds we are working with. If cops can kill a guy on video by beating him to death for 15 minutes and telling him they’re going to “frick him up” as they make him plead for his father and they don’t do a single day in jail, it’s unlikely this guy is going to do a day in jail.

Seems to me dude should have taked his knee off the guys neck after he was cuffed. Don’t think this was racist just power abuse Which is no excuse for murder. What is protocal?
