Anyone here have season tickets and getting a little nervous around different scenarios? For example, if football can only be played at 30% or 50% stadium capacity? I haven't seen any guidance from the ticket dept yet, other than increased mail asking for more donations. With college in particular, would ticket departments be able to refund a mass amount of ticket holders?

I'm nervous. I have to think they are working on multiple contingency plans with hopes they will need none of them. I'm expecting some update by mid-June. Maybe they'll go based on our TAF ranking or maybe they'll rotate. Will the number be 25k? 50k? Who knows.

Bjork at aTm said they are aiming to have all season ticket holders in their stadium. Hopefully LSU does the same. Honestly if you are going to make a decision based on data you would just say no one under 55 in the stands and have a full house.

What about the season ticket holders who are 55+? Quite a few big time donors in that 55+ group.

Yeah, I don't disagree. I think it's likely going to naturally drift that way anyways. I'm young and would obviously prefer to go to games however it might look like. But the costs between our tickets and donations is still a pretty hefty investment.

Just got me to thinking what the University could realistically offer if they could only have, for example, 50% of season ticket holders in the stadium. I've never really seen how high %'s are for Nebraska, but they are tough to get and I think heavily season ticket holders

ETA: I know we're probably not going to know much for a couple months, was just curious what other universities have said, if anything

Colleges will probably start with club level tickets then work their way down

I'm 57 and if they shut us out because we're over 55, I will go scorched earth.

If you are not made whole with being able to enter the stadium for all home games, you will be refunded.

You will probably be refunded or given a credit for the cost of the tickets. The "donation" will probably not be refunded.

I would say eliminate all road tickets for visiting fans
That will free up space
I’ll sit in upper deck if I have to

Thats wrong, TAF donations related to baseball tickets were refunded, but they did give you an option to donate anyway.

I vote that they assign seats based upon seniority.

I suspect all of the AD's are holding out hope for as long as possible that we will have football games with normal attendance (i.e. no spacing restrictions)

If/when that looks like that won't happen, I suspect the first step would maybe be to reach out to the season ticket holders and offer refunds if they don't want to attend this season. As surprising as it may sound, you're going to have a not so insignificant number of fans who voluntarily don't want to show (This board kind of skews perception sometimes. Including mine. But I was surprised recently to see just how many people are still scared to very hesitant to fully get back to normal)

That MAY be enough to reduce the crowd enough to all0w "social distancing". If not, they' probably start taking away tickets from the newer season ticket holders and move forward by reverse seniority

There is no optimal solution outside of proceeding as if this whole embarrassing episode never happen. But it is hard to imagine there won't be some push to at least enact some measure of mandatory "precaution" this season.

Couldn't they just tell everyone to "Enter at your own risk"? I don't think they need to make the decision for us.

If you have medical concerns about the virus, then do not attend a crowded game.

(Potential upside of intimidation factor with large "Enter at your own risk" signs at every gate )
