Odds for Burrow's Bengals to make the playoffs. 6.75 to 1 - Good bet? Bad bet?

Cincinnati Bengals +675 -1115 [Vegas Insider]

And it is a 14 team playoff this season.

Not going to bet the farm, but I like the odds. You?

Eh, I love Joe but a rookie QB on the worst team in the league and coming in with no OTAs isn't a recipe for a playoff run.

They’re in a really tough division. Hard to see them not finishing last, regardless of how good you think Burrow’s going to be right off the bat.

He has weapons on the outside if Green is fully healthy, his O-line is meh and defense isn't so good.

There's a reason they had the #1 pick.

i think its more likely he has a mirror of archies career with the saints, where he has bad teams and bad coaching his whole career

he is locked in for 6 years with the bungles, 5th year option plus a franchise tag option so he aint going no where whether they suck or not

They'll improve but Baltimore still really good, Cleveland and Pitt are still decent (if Mayfield can bounce back, they are a solid team).

Would be great for JB, but their OL is one of the worst, so bad bet imo.

7:1 in a division with the Ravens and 2 potential resurgent teams?

Steelers are the best bet, esp b/c they're Andercursed

Odds should be higher for the Bengals.

Absolutely shite bet.

That team is awful. Relying on a rookie QB to go to the playoffs after having the worst season record the previous year...hard pass

If you like those odds you should probably bet the farm on Cincy over 5.5 wins for the season

I don't watch much pro football anymore, but I will certainly watch this team if they play.

The discussion here should be quite good.

Steelers went 8-8 with Mason Rudolph and an undated free agent at quarterback and their top WR and top RB playing hurt.

They also have to worry about a very tough Ravens team.

Doubtful, even with Burrow. The Ravens will likely win the division, so they’ll have to rely on a wildcard bid, which isn’t particularly likely.

There is an extra wild card team this year.

But the Bengals are really a bad team.

Burrow is good, ...
