Never thought about cleaning the crawfish in the back of the side by side. Prettty genius idea.

That's insane....the markings look like they are embedded in his other scales in the pic....never seen one like that.

Definitely a dark one for the south. There are some really dark ones in the Northeast though.

Beautiful snake. The timber rattlesnakes in the West Virginia region of Appalachia have a black coloration and are locally called black rattlers.
