Welp. That’s why the DA had to recuse.

Whether he knew the kid or not, it does not matter.

The kid was unarmed, and they confronted him with weapons. The kid defended himself and the rednecks killed him.

I am not at all saying the kid was innocent (we have no way of knowing), but he did not deserve to get killed.

I thought this was going to be the case. It makes sense that someone who knew this guy's history would stop him if he saw him running through their neighborhood.

Lol. I’d bet McMichael couldn’t pick Arbery out of a lineup.

I'm not sure how you can come to the conclusion based on the video.

this new "information" really has no bearing on the murder case

it only has bearing on the whole "holy shite this prosecutor's office should face consequences" case

It’s a sad situation. But all too many times in these situations egg is on everyone’s faces when the full story comes out. I’ll wait till then.

The guy was wearing boots and cargo shorts and carrying a hammer? Sounds like he was looking for a framing job.
I haven't read anything about the case, except on here. I've been busy and don't know all of the details.

Seems like a burglar, would at least have a ride.

They didn't stop him. They didn't arrest him. They didn't apprehend him.

They ambushed him with guns and shot him dead.

There is (almost) literally no backstory that can justify what transpired. Even if he had broken into and vandalized 20 homes that morning, citizens cannot perch from a truck and shoot someone dead.

Agreed but let's not pull a Trayvon and post middle school pics.

This was an adult.

It doesn’t change the fact that two regular guys (not cops) chased a guy down in the street with loaded weapons and eventually that guy caught a shotgun blast to the chest.
