What will be the new normal at the workplace after we get back to work?

so...
- no more handshakes
- corporate town hall meetings will be done remotely
- all personnel spaced out even further
- morning/afternoon temperature checks?
- more work from home initiatives for most corporate entities
- less in-person meetings and more reliance on MS Teams, Zoom, etc
- if and when conferences come back, stricter approvals on who is going where? i can't see companies approving conference attendance without some extremely strict scrutiny.
- daily full cleansing of your cube/workstation

I think a lot of the precautions we're currently taking are thrown right out the window because people are sick of it.

I will never ever ever again pass on a Happy Hour invite.
My dogs might need to file for unemployment because they're pretty convinced they're my new coworkers and that they're keeping the company afloat.

I work from home so nothing has changed or will change for me

I've tried suggesting alternative forms of greetings. My suggestion of the Roman Salute didn't go over so well.

Once this is over everything will go back to normal. Handshakes will come back and all this increased hygiene will go out the window.

Besides from a few HR corporate rules, nothing. People will go back to their normal “social” lives.

Remote sexual harassment lawsuits.

Absolutely nothing will change. Boomer bosses will still insist on butts in seats and finishing deals on the golf course. Increased cleaning supplies will be the first thing to be cut.

You sound like you work in a really expensive and terrific office

People will realize how great it is to work with your dog all day, and start bringing them into the office.

I never stopped working. I’m not sure. You pussys need to grow a pair and get back on the grind.
