The Democrats side of the bill is indefensible, and yet here you are. The Republicans made a Covid-19 stimulus bill, and the Dems made it into politics. This proves that day to day Democrats are ignorant, uninformed and brainwashed.

They worked with Schumer and other Dems on the first bill, wasn’t enough pork and Special interest for Pelosi. The first Bill was bipartisan. Where has the OP been?

Bullshat. The original bill had everything a progressive democrat candidate (that can’t even win a democrat primary) could want. It was that far left.

Democrats say : not enough!!

It’s incomprehensible by rational person.

Oh FFS. Now you are straight up lying.

Literally a PERFECT Dem voter.

Stupid, illiterate, lying, and now trying to mock those who know the truth.

I'm curious. Everyone here is mad at Dems for not automatically passing a bill that only republicans made.

Are you mad that Republicans are not automatically passing a bill that Dems made?

Neither party owns all of congress so there needs to be compromise and that is a good thing, because both bill have some crappy things in them and need to be sorted out.

Unfortunately, both sides are playing political games right now instead of sitting at the table and working.

This should have been a bipartisan creation from the beginning.

$2 trillion is way too much to just pass without really going over it.

Didn't the bill go from 247 pages to 1400 filled with complete garbage?

What irritates me is that they can't pass a bill that focuses only on the task at hand. Nothing else should be added that isn't something directly impacted by Coronavirus. No raises for congress, Post Office bail out, student loan bail out, etc.

Lol, oh no... Must downvote anyone who disagrees with me.

I come here to try to understand the far right. It is entertaining.

I have many friends who vote for both parties. But only here can I get the radical right view.

Republicans and Dems tried to play games with this. The Dems and their pork... The Republicans with crafting it with no Dem input... They clearly wanted this to happen.

I see the Dim talking points are out. So many misinformed (probably willfully) that the original bill was not bipartisan.

That's what's important. It's not the actual content of the original Republican bill...or the absurd demands made by the democrats when refusing to pass said bill.

Nah, it's just a fairness question.

Nope. I don't think anyone would be upset about that.

But that is not what was done.

The different committees were working in a bipartisan fashion, and we're close to a deal when Nancy and Chuck decided they needed money for abortions, tax credits for green energy, money for illegal immigrants, etc.

What do you say in response to this?
