What a complete joke that bill is.

It's a flat rate that does not take into account for cost of living expenses that varies differently state by state and region by region.

That's a completely tone deaf bill.

I’ll take a one time repayment of my money back. I don’t want it monthly

Shouldn’t welfare folk not be affected at all? Their gov checks still coming in.

I agree , they shouldn't get anything . I just don't see Democrats going along with this.

Democrats need to protect their filthy base.

It's going nowhere in the House. They're going to want checks for dead people. This tug of war could go on for weeks.
Pelosi tweeted it is not enough 'for workers' Graham just GAF about Boeing factory workers in SC. All of them only care about -Amtrak & airlines because they get the most money from them.

Dems will play act they GAF; but they want the working class out.

Great, but my 2018 income has absolutely nothing to do with my income now 2 years later (which is basically half).

Again, they can’t base it off of now numbers, or even last year, because a large portion of the country hasn’t filed taxes yet

I did not have a kid in 2018. I did have one in 2019. Looks like I'll miss out on the $500.

Anything on payroll tax cut? That would benefit all workers regardless of income.

What should they use? The tax filing deadline for 2019 is not until July 2020. They can't send checks based on 2019 data.

Didn't the first two relief bills pass overwhelmingly in both chambers?

"Phase Three" will be passed as well.

A website where we can enter paystub information that’s verified from your 2020 tax filing.

If you’re found to have lied you get penalized
