The "phase three" bill unveiled by Senate Republicans on Thursday includes rebates of $1,200 for most individuals who reported less than $75,000 on their 2018 tax returns, or $2,400 per couple who filed their taxes jointly and made less than $150,000. Another $500 would be added for every dependent child. Low-income Americans with at least $2,500 of qualified income, but who do not earn enough to pay income tax, get a smaller benefit of $600, or $1,200 for couples.
It will decrease $5 for every 100 dollars in income over 75k. Based on 2018 income tax returns.

I looked at my 2018 W2. 74,820

this is interesting. is it just wages? I could see an issue if you have some one time income like cashing out a 401k or such driving up total income.
do you go on gross income or is it taxable income?

Is that AGI or taxable income?
Posted on 3/20/20 at 9:59 am to Wally Sparks
Are these numbers based on AGI?

It's going nowhere in the House. They're going to want checks for dead people. This tug of war could go on for weeks.

Sadly, this seems to be the case for me as well.

Do K-1s count towards this or just w2/1099 income?
Posted on 3/20/20 at 10:04 am to deltaland
So if I’m reading right. The checks will be based off your 2018 filing, not 2019?
I haven’t filed my 2019 yet.

Interesting. 75k in Cali is a lot diff than 75k in Mississippi

Don't know how a tax form from 2 years ago is appropriate to use to reflect economic situations now to determine need. Seems highly inappropriate

So, welfare filth isn't getting any ?
If that's true , Democrats will never go along with that.
