re: Notice how now everyone thinks TSA is a necessity? - Ingloriousbastard
The need for regulated security is undoubtedly there. Whether public or private is a completely different question. ...

re: A question regarding 401ks and IRAs........re: Liberal position - Ingloriousbastard
Almost everyone would be against this, therefore I believe it will never happen. 1) The government would suffer because they wouldn’t be getting taxes up front (everyone would move to traditional 401K/IRAs). 2) Taxing traditional plans up front to make up for if people leave ROTH accounts wo...

re: A question regarding 401ks and IRAs........re: Liberal position - Ingloriousbastard
I have a very hard time believing they wouldn’t grandfather existing plans (if this ever actually happened, but it would be dumb if they did and I highly doubt that realistically it would). Changing the rules retroactively would almost certainly be successfully challenged in court. ...

re: A question regarding 401ks and IRAs........re: Liberal position - Ingloriousbastard
If they did this then I would assume everyone would move to traditional retirement accounts. The point of a ROTH is that the government gets their tax money now vs later. ...

re: Will Tennessee break a priVate school's 3-year dominance? - Ingloriousbastard
I’m not saying all that, but it is fun to document the sudden fall of Georgia. Also, Coley didn’t call plays, Chaney did. You aren’t really an OC if your head coach doesn’t trust you to call plays. ...

re: Will Tennessee break a priVate school's 3-year dominance? - Ingloriousbastard
Chaney ranked 14th in the country in scoring offense last season, and the guy you replaced him with ranked 71st in the last season he was allowed to call plays. Another fun stat. ...

re: Will Tennessee break a priVate school's 3-year dominance? - Ingloriousbastard
Kirby offered him $1.3 million a year to stay and UT outbid you. On top of it, you then got turned down by numorous OCs and then had to resort to promoting a position coach with a failed history as an OC playcaller. ...

Where are you getting these numbers from? Here is a link to a tweet from the school at the end of 2016 highlighting offensive improvement after ditching your new OC. https://mobile.twitter.com/CanesFootball/status/806910761352261632?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E806910761...

re: Will Tennessee break a priVate school's 3-year dominance? - Ingloriousbastard
Your OC is a promoted position coach who wasn’t allowed to call plays at most of the schools he was co-OC of. The one that let him call plays had shitty offenses. Maybe I understand why you’re melting after all. ...

re: VOLS hire Tee Martin as assistant coach - Ingloriousbastard
So Georgia fans are STILL melting over UT stealing their OC? It’s going to be okay man. That position coach you promoted to OC could possibly be alright. ...

re: Which team has the most players/coaches jumping off a sinking ship? - Ingloriousbastard
Bama has had a lot of player attrition, but Georgia lost their best coaches and then couldn’t manage to hire an OC. They had to resort to promoting a position coach. ...

re: Anyone filed their taxes? - Ingloriousbastard
My first post insinuated that most people don’t know how to read tax tables or understand how standard deductions work. Some people in high tax states making a certain amount could pay more, but the overwhelming majority will pay less. That’s an absolute fact. ...

re: Anyone filed their taxes? - Ingloriousbastard
I said almost everyone. Most people take the standard deduction (and even more now will because it wouldn’t make sense to itemize since it has doubled). The vast majority of people will pay less. Some may pay more, but it’s a very small percentage. ...
