God damn it - these types of things are such BS because they’d never take down the blue blood programs

I don't want to give them clicks. What is the synopsis?

According to Rabalais in The Advocate this morning (they got an advanced screening of the doc), Sean Miller comes out looking worse than Wade and there isn't anything new at all on Wade here. Forde is saying the opposite. Guess we will have to wait to see it for ourselves.

Shocker that it’s wolken and forde leading the charge trying to act like this is some massively new evidence.

Stopped paying attention

Kondelis said that Dawkins was an open book for the vast majority of their filming but “stopped short on multiple subjects. Specifically Rick Pitino.”
ETA: Also leave it to Pat Forde to use the word "cocksure" in an article. What a shmuck

Wade came into the SEC and started playing the game that Pearl and Calipari were playing. As soon as Kentucky found out that Wade was on the wiretaps, Forde was provided “incentive” to make sure Wade and Pitino (an added bonus) were taken down. It’s why there has been such an uneven approach as to who is the headliner of the story, specifically so little focus on Zion and Duke - UNC just didn’t have a media shill they could pay off like UK.
Maybe there is kharma n the world and one day Forde gets prosecuted for tax evasion for unreported income.

Man, Will Wade really pissed off some people coming in and winning the SEC right away

So again, Forde was waiting for the NCAAT to start in order to damage teams he doesn't like, but since the China virus cancelled it, this is what he is doing.
Too bad no one will care this year, Forde.
Now, GFY

I'll bet he had this all set to break on the first day of the NCAA tourney except, oops, nobody gives a shite. Sucks to be him.

intereting this was timed for an LSU NCAA run
sorry the virus hit and you fricks weren't able to blow up LSU's post-season again this year.

LSU needs to get rid of WW and be done with it. Unless you're a total idiot, it's clear he paid for players. You can go ahead and defend him, but when LSU sits on probation because of WW just remember I told you so.
This is not about breaking the law in terms of LSU, this is about LSU removing the black cloud over its BB program that will exist as long as WW is coach. Once this documentary comes out, LSU will have no choice but to cut ties with WW! Keeping WW would be like giving the middle finger to the NCAA, which would not be a good move.
LSU doesn't have to find the money trail to fire WW. I think the documentary will more than prove LSU needs to find new leadership for its BB program. Winning isn't worth putting the future of its BB program under possible severe NCAA sanctions for many years!

He's right.
It is damning evidence of cheating by Wade.
You can say you don't care, that every body is doing it, there is a blue blood double standard or you can attack the motives of those who trumpet this evidence in the media. YOu can also argue the evidence is not conclusive.
But you cannot credibly deny the tapes are not evidence of Wade cheating.
Its not a good thing for LSU or Wade.

Idk why LSU should care since players are about to start getting paid anyways. If they fired him for something that will pretty much be allowed in a few years then they would be making a major mistake.

They could have a tape of Wade saying “I gave him 2 million to come to LSU” and nothing can be done about it.
Why? Because someone saying it isn’t proof. If so, Ole Miss would have gotten a sanction specifically for Tunsil when he said on draft day “I would have to say yeah” when asked if he was given impermissible benefits for going to Ole Miss.

Is this just Forde re-wording Wolken's piece but adding some more pearl clutching?
