Bring as many coolers as you can, price is dropping like a rock, talked to my seafood guy this afternoon and he said he will be selling boiled crawfish for 2.99/lb tomorrow

A friend in the know in SW LA who works with industry said wholesale/dockside prices today dropped to $0.50 per lb for peelers and $1.00 per lb for everything else.

I see people claim they are getting them $1/lb, when you ask where they suddenly forgot.

Of course come Friday thru the weekend, it will be raining. Demand will drop a shite load.

The Crawfish App shows a place called The Fruit Stand in Breaux Bridge has live for $0.99/lb, I’ve never heard of them and don’t know how accurate that is.
I know Hanks in Lafayette posted them for $1.50/lb today, I’ve always had good experiences when buying from them.

Have you ever been to Breaux Bridge? Hard to miss The Fruit Stand if you have.
Their Facebook has a video with Floyd (the owner) saying they have boiled 10 lbs for $39.99 (still high, $4/lb), and a sack of live crawfish for $39.99. If your typical sack weighs 30-40 lbs, that's $1-1.33/lb.

Sacks are usually 30-33lbs.
I'm seeing prices @ $20/sack for small, $40 for medium/large in LC.

Still hanging at $1.90 and up in the N.O. area from the few calls I made earlier when thinking about doing a sack on Saturday.

Crawfish time on ridge in laffy had them for 50/sack yesterday for "good medium field runs"

La. Gulf Seafood in Pineville advertising 1.95 live and 3.95 berled. Better than I’ve seen anywhere around Ellic.
