She was sick for about a day and if she didn’t know it was Covid-19 she would have gone through her daily life as normal.
Sounds like she had a bad cold.
Shut down our lives over a bad cold.

Then why was she tested in the first place?
Should’ve stayed home and let it ride.

DONT YOU UNDERSTAND HOW A VIRUS SPREADS?!?!?!?!?
Posted on 3/18/20 at 10:07 am to The Boat
For fricks sake what if she passed it to her beloved parents or grandparents or in laws or any number of vulnerable people you ignorant assholes?

Nothing has changed. The majority of people, especially young people, wont have severe symptoms. That's not why its a big deal! Its the smaller population that will need to get hospitalized from catching it from everyone else.

If we can keep this thing under 200 deaths I’m grateful for everything our benevolent government is doing

If you've had cold or flu like symptoms, or maybe even no symptoms at all (maybe you're just a carrier), you may have already had and recovered from COVID-19.
If you haven't been tested you just don't know.
I'm not worried for me. I just don't want to kill anyone's grandma by accidentally infecting them.

When people are this dumb, it helps you understand why governments have to mandate closures.

It’s not about shutting our lives down over a “bad cold” it’s about being contagious to the others that are immunocompromised. What if she came into contact with an older loved one and they died because she decided oh it’s not that bad and infected someone that it would be that bad for.

yeah and some people are asymptomatic, and some people die. Just because one person has a particular experience, you can't extrapolate that to the entire world.

It does beg the question why we didn’t just quarantine the old and sick for 3 months, and go for the herd immunity route. Pass some type of law that guarantees they won’t be fired due to absences and give some temporary assistance to those people.

used to tell her in bed all the time, Kaylee you should stick with sports..and now she has corona

What's crazy is that if she came on here or went by official guidelines she would have never been tested.
That's why I suspect this thing is much more prevalent than we think because the symptoms vary so much. We have been told if you are stuffy and have a fever it almost assuredly is not COVID-19. That is exactly what her symptoms were and she was over it in a day.
My family is going through something that mirrors her symptoms to a tee, but no doctor is going to say we should get tested right now. We will just hunker down in the off chance it is COVID-19.

I would "Hard Tongue" the virus out of her.

Most of the symptoms she described leading up to her diagnosis do not match the usual stuff we're being warned about. She's talking about a runny nose, congestion, headache, etc.
