In cash? None really. I might have a couple 20's every once in a while, but that's it.

I pretty much never have cash

Between 0-300
Usually what ends up happening is either I receive gifts/money paid back from friends/family etc or I go on a trip and decide I should have cash on hand "just in case" and never actually use it. So it just sits in my wallet forever until it gets over a few hundred, then I decide to make a rare trip to the bank to deposit it.
I hardly ever actually use cash.

Enough to pay my house cleaner for the month.

I once experienced having banks closed, ATMs empty, and no merchants taking credit cards because the system was overloaded, since then I always have a decent amount of cash put away at home.

Katrina taught me to keep around $1,000. I think currently we have about $1500 in the safe. We’ve used it mostly for car repairs and worn out tires and times when work done for us around the house can be discounted with cash.

So if someone happen to keep more than $1000ish or so, this would be a good place to mention it?

Plenty would be $200....I usually have zero. Better half has clients who pay in cash from time to time, and the odd notary here and there. We both prefer credit card useage over cash.

Anywhere from 2-5k cash in the gun safe. Katrina and Gustav taught me that your earning potential of your money and the value of your equities is irrelevant when you try to buy gas or food from a store running with a generator and using a cigar box as a cash register.
