You ever stay at "motels"?

My old definition of a motel was a hotel with doors on the outside.
Now it's that with the stipulation it's under 100 a day. . I was staying at Disney moderate resort. They all have the doors on outside. But it was nice and expensive enough to keep trash out.
Switched parks and got a motel suite in Kissimmee. First flag should have been two bedrooms for $45/ night, compared to Disney's $285 for a regular room. (Moderate)
I'll say now the savings isn't worth it. 11:50 and Mexicans are loud as hell outside. A guy dragged his kid through lobby. Another guy blocked ther loading zone, went inside and wanted to fight the the guy who complained to him.
Our room has one working light,(the bulbs just missing) one tv remote had no batteries, two working outlets. Looks like last remodel was during the Carter administration.
Other than that not horrible. I may die tonight because I'm about to go confront these migos. There seems to be seven in one room.
Already booked a new place for tomorrow. Think this is last time I go cheap on a room. Just not worth it.
Hotels.com needs a better rating system this aint no 3.5 star.
If I do not make it, I bequeath my E250 to TulaneLsu so he can get his E350 going.

If it looks like it would be on an episode of Cops, then no, don’t stay there.

When I worked for this terrible blue French company they wouldn’t allow us to book rooms that were on the first floor and had doors that opened to the outside
Unless I was in a particularly poor country of course

I lost fantasy football and spent a night in the Starring Motel. I don’t like talking about it.

I’m pretty sure I know which one you’re at just by the subscription

Are you on 192?
After the hurricane the government moved a lot of people from Puerto Rico to Central Florida and they live in the motels.
It is very strange when you leave the Disney grounds. Parts of 192 are pretty rough. Disney doesn’t pay good so a lot of the bus drivers, cooks, etc. live in the motels as well.

I stayed in one in the middle of nowhere Montana for like 60 bucks.
Looked kinda old and run down on the outside but the rooms were modern and super clean. It was kinda bizarre for a place in the middle of nowhere.
TripAdvisor bruh

Wow, surprised they labeled it that. I’ve learned you need to watch the star level but also make sure the customer reviews are above ~85%.
If it says 3.5 star but the reviews are only 60% positive, it’s a shithole with an inaccurate star rating.
In a small town, the star ratings get a lot more questionable. 3.5 stars in a normal city will be much higher quality than a motel.

Used to a lot in my youth traveling around for baseball/softball tournaments. Now I don't unless I'm by myself. If I have the family we will stay in a hotel, but if I'm solo I don't mind and it's worth saving the money.

I like old motels on Route 66. I stayed at this one a couple years ago in New Mexico

Guess you never been on a hunting or camping trip in the middle of nowhere. Nothing better than being worn out and being able to pull up straight to your door.. nothing like spending a night in cold A/C with a hot shower when you haven’t had one in days.
