That’s what he tells you, he’s probably around 350 in actuality.

Contrary to what we’ve been taught forever, dietary cholesterol doesn’t give you high blood cholesterol.
That said, calories still matter. Keto tends to make you have less of an appetite, so you eat fewer calories. Eating plain butter is kind of gross.

And? What common sense says butter is necessarily bad for you?

That’s my estimation. I have no clue what he is.

LOL. My wife and I are doing keto and she tried to tell me the same thing. No, losing weight will always be calories in vs calories out. Eating healthy will always be better than eating shite. Cutting carbs is a way to get your body to burn more fat, but you can't eat 500 grams of fat a day and expect to lose weight.

That sounds more like the old school atkins where you simply avoid carbs. To follow keto closely you are supposed to keep certain % of your intake with fat and protein. I'm not sure what the breakdown is, but it isn't like you are supposed to sit down with a tub of butter and eat it with a fork.

There’s no short cut. Keto is not sustainable and you gain most of your weight back as soon as you get back on carbs. Just go to the gym, lift some shite, regulate what you eat, and do it the right way. But that’s obviously too difficult nowadays.

No way that shite is healthy.
My wife and I tried it for a week. I put a stop to it after she made us a "Keto Cheeseburger Calzone" The damn crust had butter and cream cheese and all kinds of fat in it. But hey baby it was KETO.
I said nope. We are just going to eat simple. A whole piece of meat, some greens, and a sweet potato or so. Works much better

Seriously. Eat it with a fork like a civilized person.

Eating butter straight off a knife and saying that is healthy is a bit weird. Have you ever eaten BBQ shrimp? It’s shrimp cooked in butter, and then you dip the shrimp in hot butter.

I've been doing "lazy" keto for 3 years now, off an on. By lazy, I mean I don't count my carbs and just avoid sugar and starches as much as possible. It's allowed me to get off high cholesterol meds as my numbers dropped back into the normal zone. I also lost 30 pounds and have kept them off for the most part.
That said, it's definitely not a diet for everyone and can cause long term health problems for some people.
