I'm uptown looking out my lab, and saw the same, now it's much lighter with the rain.
I assume you're looking at the entire storm when it's approachong and only part of it when it's overhead.
Had a monsoon in Slidell but just clouds right now.

seriously the cams down there are worse than anywhere I've ever seen. I ended up fighting a couple of mine down by calling the mayor's office and telling them I thought they were predatory
there's a stretch on franklin st where there are 3 different school zones in a <5 miles stretch. all three have different times, and two of the three have different MPH's than the third. I got one for going 22 in a 20 on a saturday lmao

I think it has the highest arrests per capita in the country. Know a baw who worked for the Gretna PD. Young guy only a few years on the job. Idk if he technically blew the whistle on them, but he raised the issue of the insane quotas. He either got canned or quit after and I think he sued for retaliation. Not sure what happened with it. Was a few years back.

nah I still like gretna overall I'm mostly just ball-bustin', but if you really want to know why gretna sincerely sucks, look at the anecdote directly below your post. it's like a suburb of a city full of old white people who hate the city it sits right next to.
anyone who thinks gretna is better than algiers point, in any capacity besides maybe property taxes, is a lunatic or a rube.

The shitiest part of Algiers is in Aurora. It's rough back there. Most don't see it unless they look down when taking the bridge to the point.
To me the best part of Algiers is past English turn. I know someone with 20 acres out there and a NOLA address.

It led to a federal investigation into Gretna PD. Some of my podnas went to high school with the dude you're talking about.

It’s shot in the parking lot of the old bowling alley , now a Walmart food market. In gretna, empty shotgun lots are going for $75k - 100k. You’re basically in the safest city in the state and literally 5 minutes from the warehouse district and downtown Nola. You can’t find a house for sale between the expressway and the river and if one comes up it’s bought in a day or two. Really good property value. If your car is broken into the police dust for prints and actually make arrests!!!!
