any one see this or confirm?

He singled it at the press conference without saying it. He also didn’t really comment on the graph showing mitigation late into the fall.

No it looks like it is but flattening the curve just pushes out and loses the peak.

He tweeted out some new bullshite chart and now saying Nola runs out of beds in May. They just keep moving the goalposts when their previous doomsday predictions don’t come close to happening.

It is happening EXACTLY as they expect.

People just thought “flattening the curve” meant we could end this sooner.

Nope.

I’ll bet anyone $100 JBE closes things until June. Morons will continue to cheer and facebook police will continue to say “comply so we can get back to normal life” despite the government doing whatever they want.

Hope some businesses start reopening or filing lawsuits against this bullshite

Flattening the curve stretches this whole ordeal out

Flattening the curve does not speed up our return to normalcy.

That doesn’t mean it is the incorrect course of action, but people need to understand that concept and we need to address that accordingly.

If flattening the curve means that we have to stay shutdown for 2-3 months, people need to understand the ramifications of that.

I would hope in the next two weeks there will be some sort of path forward unveiled.

Yeah the entire country being fricked... when data out of NY and Louisiana is showing that 98% of deaths have pre existing conditions, the decision needs to be made for those people to stay inside and protect themselves.

It’s time to go back to work

The curve has been flattened. The new model runs are going to show a big drop in projected deaths. To prevent anyone for dying we will keep everything shut down until there is a vaccine. Cigarettes are still legal.

Just found out that I know someone that has now died from Coronavirus.. A guy I worked with for 5 years, he was in his mid 60’s and caught it at a hospital where he was doing chemo treatments.. Apparently his chemo had gone well, and he was set to go back to work within a couple weeks until the virus hit him.. Sucks.. He was a really good man..

You are aware that if we said "Everything back to normal EXCEPT old/obese/diabetics/poor heart health/hypertension people are NOT ALLOWED to leave home", you'd have MORE people locked down that are currently.

You get that right?
