Fantastic idea ... that might prevent me from telemed visit for anxiety. Not sure they can prescribe meds via telemed for that. And I'm not even remotely joking.

Has anyone even discussed opening anything back up?

Man, it's Louisiana ... we don't do much right.
But maybe this time they will.

I don’t think the restrictions will remain in its current form until the end of May. Even if they, do your doomsday scenario is a bit much.

Dallas announced until May 20 today.. that’s fricking insane.

There will have to be middle ground at some point. Can’t go like this for months. Many families and businesses will literally not survive or be able to manage.

These restrictions can be lifted as quickly as they were announced.
I do agree that it’s retarded to just keep extending everything father when we are only like 1 week into this.
Also expect the roll out to be in phases.
Even if we end the stay at home in April, I assume May will have some restrictions, like size of events.

I really don't see a conceivable way it will last into June as things are now. Hopefully sooner. I for one agree with most of the short term measures, but something has to give halfway as you say. By the time May rolls around (at the very latest) hospitals, cities, towns, etc should have made tremendous strides in capacity. THere will be other noteworthy progress too like improvements in treatment, increase in manufacturing of masks/ppe. Things like restaurants and other currently "non-essential" businesses need to open by then. While the medical/scientific community looks for long term solutions, mass gatherings like festivals and most sporting events unfortunately should probably stay cancelled for several months. But the shelter in place orders, domestic travel restrictions, etc. need to go well before summer.

Collin County has nearly a million people and 227 confirmed cases. They are following the state issued advisories and yet mayhem hasn't erupted. Dallas county has a population of 2.7 million and only 921 cases and are locked down until May 20
I'm all for flattening the curve but I'm not sure there is any data pointing to the need for Dallas county to completely locked down at this point.

The media is a bunch of twats... Trump doesn’t do the beat job of wording things properly and Succinctly, but that bitch with the “what do you mean by our” question
Posted on 4/3/20 at 5:19 pm to Sao
Sap what’s going on? Bloodbath for which side? Just turning it on.

Dude, read the transcript from yesterday! That beautiful transcript. Her question wasn't confusing, he's being a milquetoast Bitch. Kushner said precisely what she said and 50 Governors probably applauded. Yours as well. He's playing big papa bear father in law, not the POTUS.

Was that the same reporter who alleged a WH staffer said “kung flu” and then wouldn’t provide a name when asked?

They are asking the most asinine questions... “what do you mean by our” when trump said our supply of respirators... the fricking United States. He has to explain to her the difference between the wholistic country and states
Then another just asked the Joe Biden question if Trump was going to sign the 3m stimulus checks for those without direct deposit... like with a pen
Posted on 4/3/20 at 5:26 pm to Lsut81
Asinine questions?
