bruh, the offense lost this game. Only reason this wasn't a blowout was because of the defense.

I'm not that upset with this game. Except for number 7, this team just didn't deserve to win today. How it goes.

Nope. Knew the Saints did not have what it takes to get to the Super Bowl. Just don’t have it

I’m actually more pissed than I thought I’d be

Never thought we were out of it until the Thelien catch

Genuinely believed this was the year to turn all the bad mojo around and put a bow on Drew’s career

And now the window seems closed.

fricking sucks man

Yes

The past decade has had a lot of awesome regular season moments.

The playoffs however, have been gut wrenching. I just expect it at this point.

Which was 1000x better than the previous decades of being a Saints fan where it was gut wrenching regular season moments and no playoffs. Which in reality is probably why I am not upset.

I honestly felt the same way you do... but now I just realized that I’m pissed off that I’m not really pissed off about it

The nfl has lost its sizzle for me. Sure, I love my saints, and probably always will keep up with them... but with the state of the game with penalties and shite, and all the other off the field BS, then factor in piss poor officiating, I just really don’t give a shite about the NFL anymore.. fantasy is fun, but that’s about it for me

I can honestly see the end in sight.. thought I’d be pulled back in as the season went on. The fire never returned for me. frickin blows

I didn’t even bother putting my Saints gear on today. I barely bothered to turn the game on at the end of the first quarter. Never felt like driving to watch it at the bar. I knew the outcome would be a loss, but like a self-loathing star wars fan, I tuned in anyway to find out exactly how they were going to break my heart. Turned out they couldn’t break what was already broken because it simply didn’t matter to me.

Looking forward to this!

LSU is not perfect but there are way less team weaknesses/issues than Saints have. Can’t wait.

You are I must be cousins, I saw it coming a mile away. When CSP decided to just go for FG I knew it was over. Saints are fools gold

Had a hard time getting my hopes up this year even though it was A good one.

But Taysom Hill and MT13 are fun players to watch.

Glad they are on our squad.

Agreed. It also helps that my favorite team of all is about to play for a natty.

Because of last year, I watched way less NFL than in the past. I don't plan on watching any of the remaining 8 games.

Love the saints, hate the nfl. Idk of its the way we’ve lost recently, the complete lack of accountability on officiating, or maybe just the rules themselves. Just a whole bunch of things that have kind of turned me off this year. Only went to 2 games. The cardinals game because it was dirt cheap and the panthers to bring my nephew for his first time. Never really got emotionally invested. Being in the dome for the nfc championship kind of ruined it for me. Just as a whole, it’s just not the same for me. Spent a lot of time with family this year not really paying that much attention.

Yea me too. I got married in 09, wife threaten to break up with me due to Saints football in the prior years dating. I was a beast to be around, remember the 07/08 seasons After the SB win, I told her no more acting a fool, pretty pathetic, but whatever

At the end of the day that’s what it’s all about for many of the players. Gotta get they shine on and stunt on them hoes and get that camera time.

Even Michael Thomas started dancing after completing a basic catch with 58 seconds left in the 4th quarter (while the clock was running).

Gotta get that ME ME ME camera time

This, too. Perfect example is that little bitch Diggs sulking and going after his teammates because he wasn’t getting HIS...while his team was winning. What did the Vikings do? Called a few plays so that he could get HIS. He deserved to have his arse benched. That’s what this league has become. I just love football too much to stop watching.

Saints didn’t deserve the win. But if that wasn’t a push off & PI at the end, then I guess I don’t understand the game of football. Kinda like watching basketball & all the traveling & carrying. LOL.

I checked out last year. Was just an observer of the entire league. And that’ll be me till I die.

This describes me so much today it's almost scary. Like you I didn't feel like driving to a bar to watch it (which is something I've always done for playoff games) and since I watched it at home I didn't even bother putting on one of my Saints jerseys today.

Like you after the Vikings went up 13 - 10 I knew they were going to lose and part of me just didn't care that much. I'm thankful but also sad about how much last year broke me.
