I swear to God. I took my son to see the Star Wars movie instead of watching the game. Got out and saw that they lost and knew I made the right decision. Not mad or upset at all. Actually in a good mood. Last year broke me.

I feel the exact same way. I realized I was wayyy to emotionally invested in an event where a ref could (or not) make a call that made me angry for a week.

That said, if the tigers drop their game I will probably be angry for a week.

I thought we would win today, but get destroyed next week.

The more I sit in it, the more irritated I am.

At least the last two years were very good teams we were playing. Both 2-seeds. Losing to either was respectable from a standings point.

This is the 6-seed with one win over a team with a winning record and they came into the Dome and dominated this offense for most of the game.

Figured we would end up losing. Getting tired of the nfl, going into make money mode on my tickets. Only hope the saints are good enough to separate some fools from their money. This coming from a season ticket holder since 2002

I’m beginning to look at professional sports in a different way now.

These people make millions of dollars and still don’t show up and do their job. If I showed up to my job like some of players did today, people would get hurt. That actually frustrates me.

Yet the money just all goes into the corrupt NFL machine. Players get paid, post on their Instagram, and blow their fortunes on grills. Goodell does whatever his clown arse does.

Not sure I’ll be watching any more of the playoffs and minimal Saints going forward. Will stick to LSU more.

I'm with you. Nothing about this team ever screamed "Super Bowl" to me. Teddy going 5-0 felt like a fever dream, then when Drew comes back and they start doing the 2009 chant again I really knew something was off.

Just never felt right. I'm glad we lost here and not deeper in.

I watched possibly half the games this season and although been a fan since i was 4 years old, I've taken losses that meant less worst than today. Stopped caring as you do last season. Absolutely watch for the entertainment now alone, win or lose.

We lost, maybe next year I'll watch a few games less depending on the Sunday and watch for the joy again. Freak all the emotion, it is childish when you see clearly.

To be totally honest, this is the worst 13-3 team the Saints ever had. We were losing this week or next.

The nfl has lost its sizzle for me. Sure, I love my saints, and probably always will keep up with them... but with the state of the game with penalties and shite, and all the other off the field BS, then factor in piss poor officiating, I just really don’t give a shite about the NFL anymore.. fantasy is fun, but that’s about it for me

I can honestly see the end in sight.. thought I’d be pulled back in as the season went on. The fire never returned for me. frickin blows

Exactly how I feel. And with the way LSU has played I’ve become pretty much fully vested in college football. It’s just a better product without the bullshite

Kaepernick and the fact that the NFL didn’t take action resulted in a loss of love for the game for many fans. No love here for the NFL in general.

This thread should come with Pink Floyd’s Comfortably Numb in the background.

I usually watch redzone and actually DVR all the Saints games and never start watching before half if I can help it. So I never even saw the Falcon game disaster and don’t have to see commercials of any NFL sponsors
