I think this all goes back to last year. Like many Saints fans last year kind of broke me.

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the Saints. But I HATE the fricking NFL. It’s no fault of the Saints, but my interest level in this league is so low after last season that I honestly don’t feel an ounce of “hurt”.

Sorry if that’s offensive. You guys may be feeling pain and disappointment. And appropriately so. But my lifelong ‘emotional investment’ ended last season.

I wish we won, no doubt. We didn’t. Ah well. Moving on.... that’s where I’m at.

I've been way more invested in LSU since November. I thought the Saints could win a playoff game but had little hope for more.

LSU OTOH are doing things they've never done.

After watching the game and how we found constant ways to suck I knew would wouldn't win or even get to the SB if we managed to win today. But yea, it is what it is. We got one in 09. I can live with that.

The last two years was heartbreaking. I knew this team wasn’t going anywhere, because we have a fraud at qb.

Back in my early 20’s my weekends were defined by the outcome of Saints games. Now, not so much. Life in general does that to you.

A lot of people are bringing up LSU and I do agree that LSU is a big reason why I think a lot of fans aren't as upset. We still have LSU who will be playing for a National Title.

I was pissed for about 15 minutes, but we didn’t have it today- there wasn’t too much to get excited about on the field, so I don’t think that helped, either

Bountygate broke me. Especially because if Roman Harper makes one play on Vernon Davis, the Saints win the Super Bowl and Bountygate never happens. Because Rog isn’t going to piss away the marketability of his super bowl champs.

Same here, back in my 20s and even early 30s I would be catatonic right now Probably even throwing things. I'm 36 now and I've just mellowed out a lot in general. I guess I've finally realized at the end of the day it's not worth losing days of your life over.

I have scar across my eyebrow where I took 12 stitches smashing my head into wall when our great kicker Russell Exskayin missed a 26 yard FG to lose to the Falcons, and another bunch on my hand which I smAshed it into glass table, Big Ben 2. God only knows how many years off my life. No more. Saints are the ultimate Fools Gold

I was 12 years old when I was at the inaugural game of our New Orleans Saints. From that time, the level of misery older Saints fan have experienced doesn’t come close to this. It took this franchise decades to have a winning season much less make the playoffs. This is nothing to get over if you were around in the early years. I can die and say I watched the Saints win a Super Bowl, something I never thought I would see. On to the Tigers & the Draft.

If they don’t care if they win or lose, why should we? They still get paid. Why are we still lining Roger Goodell’s pockets?
I gave up on the whole league after last year. Lots of “entertainment” options out there!
