Clemson Boards- It is basically an article of faith that LSU has a shite defense

Once again the narrative of the casual observer who only watches his own team wins the day. They are convinced we are a big step down from Ohio State defensively. You know, one dimensional and certainly not a well rounded team that Jesus loves the most like their Clemson . LSU Can’t stop the run . Why Ole Miss ran for a bazillion yards and Vandy score fiddybilliontrillion and yada yada yada. It’s like they found Tony Kornheiser’s scribbling in a trash can or something.

yup claiming we are one dimensional on offense too, claiming they have ALL the TOOLS to shut our offense down and we have No Capable Tools to shutdown their offense. Saying they will easily hang 40 on us.

They got lucky and beat Ohio State.
As someone who hates Oh$o State they kept Clemson in that game.
Ohio state put up 3 field goals instead of TD’s in the redzone.
This bit them in the behind.
Clemson struggled all game.
Wide receivers missed routine passes.
QB was sacked way too many times.
Defense allowed Ohio state to run right through them like Swiss cheese.
Ohio state beat themselves.
At the half it should have been Ohio State 28 - Clemson 7.
LSU offensively ran and threw the ball all day long.
Receivers seem to mesch well with Burrows and Brennan.
They made the big plays and did not drop routine passes.
Defensive had a few missed plays while still looking solid enough to keep the scoring down.

LSU is averaging 50-24 since the beginning of November. They have beaten at the time 3 top 4 teams and three other SEC west programs. All the top 4 wins were on the road.

In some ways they are not wrong.
Ohio State has a good bit better defense than we do. Silly to think otherwise.
However...that ain’t the problem. Against LSU your problem is the offense. LSU puts such pressure on you that the defense is an afterthought. We don’t NEED and elite defense. We need a very good one that can get enough stops on your offense to allow our offense to run away from you.
Nobody has stopped our offense. NOBODY. So...if you are talking Clemson you have to tell us ...why will you stop it when nobody else has?

With few exceptions, every member of LSU's 2-deep chart on defense will get a look by an NFL team (even if UFA) and fully 16 (or more) of those 22 defenders will play in the NFL.
If that's a "shite" defense, it will do until a real defense comes along.

Clemson’s D has some very slow LBs. CEH and our crossing routes will crush them all night on 1/13.
They would have been exposed, if they played more teams like Ohio State this year, but their best opponent before last night was Texas A&M.
