With Clyde out, how’s our game plan change?

Our main focus was to keep OUs offense off the field and shorten the game.
We have to be able to wear them down. Losing Clyde is huge and not sure how we replace that.
This game is making me nervous. Hurts and Riley and Lamb will be ready.

Can we at least wait until there is official word that he is out?

Pete Parrish in the backfield with Burrow at times to give us some new wrinkles.

We were never going to grind out a slow paced game. CEH kept us balanced. The biggest issue will be replacing what he can do in pass protection.
TDP and Emery haven’t shown much in that area.
At the same time, we haven’t been using CEH in pass protection as much. Mostly sentinn him out in shirt safety valve routes.
I dont Think we replace his ability to break tackles but hopefully we can still get enough out of the other backs.
Where this really hurts us is that we could run 100% of our offense with CEH and not sub.

Giant loss. Severely hurts our chances. Anyway you slice it that’s fact

Losing CEH is (would be) huge. He was becoming a weapon in the passing game too.

I'm not a football coach, but I would imagine that you would replace Clyde by playing the three young guys who are as good or better?

Let’s wait until we hear something official before we start freaking out.

The butthurt truly flows when some of you asshats aren’t the one to announce a story.. Sad

FYI -- LSU's focus is NOT to shorten the game...its to simply score every time they have the ball.

Our defense is gonna frick OU up, CEH or no CEH. Same game plan.

Kirby noted that we never substituted personnel for some 20+ plays. This affects the defense in a big way.
I don't think any of the RBs are as well-rounded as CEH. IOW, we'll substitute some at RB that will permit the D to sub.
That said, the skill-set of the other RBs is a little different than CEH. I expect (since we have some time) Brady/Ensminger to put in some plays that take advantage of this.

LSU fans are so catastrophe syndrome that it’s embarrassing

"Next man up"
This is why getting guys meaningful snaps is so important. Whenever some of us would show concern about the lack of snaps Emery was getting, other posters would get pissed and downvote.

Has there ever been a more downvoted poster in the history of TD? Every time you make a thread or post, the DV’s far outweigh the UV’s...
