This is a thread about forgotten Louisiana bands we've loved and lost. Post your favorites and let's see if anyone can answer - "what ever happened to those guys?"
I'll start...
- Punch People: 311/Incubus/RHCP style funk rock 3 piece from New Orleans. Awesome bass player/singer.
- A Separate Skyline: emo band from Mandeville. Played with As Cities Burn a few times.
- Arvis: another emo band from Mandeville. I remember listening to them on PureVolume a lot back in middle school.

There's probably people that remember Sabbatic Feast, but I was really tight with their drummer and one of their guitarists during their heydey. Great times back then.

A little before my time, but I was able to find some of their stuff on Youtube. Awesome and I'm glad someone saved it.

The shite Dogs - a strange but lovable combination of punk rock and Hawkwind.

Addis - my brother was friends with the lead singer, so we used to go see them at The Caterie. I think they also played a few times with my brother at The Station.

Googled this name because it's interesting. Apparently a quote from a Mary Tyler Moore episode. Still not sure what it means.

Brock and Chris from Addis were also in Here Is Why years later.

Luke Starkiller - perfect mix of Iron Maiden and Senses Fail out of New Orleans. Broke up when some members moved out state and others formed the Scorsezes for a little while. The one reunion show they threw at Southport Hall a few years back was easily the best local band concert I have ever been to.
Stage Coach Bandits: cool southern/psychodelic rock act out of BR. Broke up when their singer moved out west.
West Without - hipster indie pop act in BR that opened for Panic at their infamous concert/stampede at Blue Bayou. Rumor is they were offered a nice record deal, but the lead singer freaked out and the band broke up instead, sad.
White Light Cemetery - badass metal band from Lafayette in the vein of Black Sabbath and Pantera. Some members started having health problems.
Liquid Sand - BR pop punk act of the 2000’s. Actually did a reunion show in Lafayette past summer, which was kinda cool.
Better By Design - kinda alternative folky rock out of Hammond. Most of their members went on to form Wonderkid, create the Rougaroux Pedals company, and invent the mopevvave genre of music.
