As expected, Herman going after LSU’s Brady

Per Chip Brown
quote:
The first call from Herman to potential offensive coordinator candidates figure to go to LSU’s Joe Brady, who is currently the receivers coach/passing game coordinator for the Tigers. Steve Emsminger is the offensive coordinator at LSU under Ed Orgeron, but there have already been reports LSU is ready to take Brady from a salary of $400,000 to $1.5 million with a co-offensive coordinator title.
Update by Chip Brown
quote:
Herman has identified a leading offensive coordinator candidate, and Texas will move quickly, following Friday’s regular-season finale against Texas Tech, to try to hire that person, sources said. That hire is not a slam dunk, because the leading candidate already has a job at a school that could take bold measures to keep him, sources said. The main target is LSU’s Joe Brady. The second target is USC’s Graham Harrell, who helped the Trojans to an 8-4 record despite quarterback injuries.

Both of those candidates would be morons to leave their current situations for that cesspool

So Coach Herman is ready to throw off. coord. Tim Beck under the bus, but def. coord. Todd Orlando gets a pass (no pun intended)?
Everyone said Beck sucked, but Coach Mensa hired him anyway... However, I have seen Sam Ehlinger miss a lot of open receivers this year.
And I figure Graham Harrell would tell Texas to kiss his arse.

Herman is desperate man. Brady is gonna get close to 2 million here as soon as the season is over. He’s not looking to hitch his wagon to a guy on the verge of getting canned.
All I can say I’m glad to have “plan B” as you guys called him all summer and Herman deserves every bit of what he’s getting and what’s coming. A total POS human being there.

Yep Joe's surely going to walk away from a national title contender to work for a coach who's one season away from being fired
HE GONE
HE GONE

Herman being a bust couldn’t happen to a better group of people honestly. And for Tom, he absolutely deserves this imminent firing. What an arrogant douche

If Alleva were still here i'd be worried he'd figure out a way to screw this up. With Woodward though we're good!

Yeah. Woodward isn’t letting Brady go due to money. Period.

Herman is on his way out in 2 years. Brady or Harrell will not come save his sorry arse. Karma Bitch

Agreed, if Alleva were in charge this could be a problem. Woodward ain’t letting good coaches walk. LSU AD now in good hands with situations like this.
