That is the selling point? Damn that is bad!
IMO this courting of Brady is a bad look for Herman. I thought Herman was this offensive guru. You would think his OC would be like being the DC for Saban, but I guess not.

That's the sales pitch?
You currently have a guy hired as an offensive mind who has gone to the AD (or vice versa) and said help is needed on offense. Meanwhile, the defensive hire was a disaster too.
And, he happens to like to kiss his players.

What will probably happen is Graham Harrell will come is my guess.

Herman knows nobody, so the AD has to lead the search. Herman is bringing his old friend and washout Ash for DC, but he’s not allowed to hire the OC. The OC is being told he will have the inside track on the job when Herman is fired next year. Sounds like a cesspool to me

Why in the world would you invest in Herman if he needs offensive help. What's the hope, that his supposed strength can be filled by someone else with hope that he continues to grow into the role of running the show for a big time program?

So after paying Herman $5mm to coach the team, UT now has to turn to a first year passing game coordinator to bail him out??
