My neighbor & his wife (older retired couple) goes there every year for a week in October (I know this thread is about Orange Beach in November.. But) and a week in March every year and love it.
A guy i used to work with, his parents has a house there, Close to the beach. They rent it out or maybe do like airBNB or something like that for the Summer... Then goes stay there for the last three months of the year.
I've only been to Orange beach during the summer, but it seems to be a popular spot this time of year as well.. I would imagine its mostly older people there, but its probably relaxing.
an Oweo special....lots of words, pretty much says nothing of note though

As if you have neighbors and they actually talk to you

You hit Blalocks yet? Steamed shrimp are really good, in addition to crabs.

I bet you love that.

Going out of town for Thanksgiving is highly underrated. Nothing is crowded, and you don't have to dance around your family's schedule.
Our family on both sides met here last year. We reserved several condos and everybody kind of did their own thing when they wanted. Some stayed a few days, some all week. Restaurants are pretty empty, great weather, and quite beaches. Decided to do it again this year.

You should also try Perdido

We go for a long weekend every year in October or November. The only issue we've run into is really bad service at a couple of restaurants. Yeah, the restaurants are empty, but some are really understaffed this time of year.
We also like going the week between Christmas and New Year's, but weather is usually pretty dreadful. It rained every day when we went 2 years ago that week. But we were pretty content to hole up in the house all day and read and watch movies.

why come during the summer when it cost twice as much?
Smoking hot barely legal chicks oiling up their supple bodies every 30 minutes or so.

Destin is so much better than Orange Beach

Will be there on Wednesday. Love it there. Usually go a few times a year, with late March through April being the absolute best time for good weather, not hot, not crowded, and the water is warm enough to go in.
Was there in July and it's just too hot then to really enjoy the beach. Went for Christmas last year and it was in the 70s.

Orange Beach in November is under rated

Agreed. Not to be nit-picky but to me early to mid October is better.
Shrimp fest is late October, also underrated

Fishing in the surf in good too, especially if you get a small north wind.

Mid October is Shrimp Fest and there are 2 weeks of Fall break. Lots of MILFs.

I love the beach in November. Did Pensacola this time last year.

this... we go for Columbus Day/fall break, in October, every year... by far, the best time of the year to go...

Second year to spend Thanksgiving week here. Blue skies, temperature ranges from low 50’s at night to about 70 in daytime, no one else is around. Unless you want to swim in gulf water, why come during the summer when it cost twice as much?
sister lives in Bon Secour
got my room whenever I want to go, next time being this weekend
and they have a boat - one of my life goals was to know someone with a boat, never to own one.
