Second year to spend Thanksgiving week here. Blue skies, temperature ranges from low 50’s at night to about 70 in daytime, no one else is around. Unless you want to swim in gulf water, why come during the summer when it cost twice as much?

We really like going to the beach house in October.

Agreed. Not to be nit-picky but to me early to mid October is better.

Because that's when the milfs are in town.

I'm here at Orange Beach now too. Kids are riding go-karts as I type this. The weather is beautiful.

October is the best month. Generally highs around 80, water still warm enough to swim and nobody there

Ya just run a higher risk of getting your trip ruined by a tropical storm later in the year. Other than that it’s worth the gamble probably.

October and April are the two best months to hit the beach in that area

My neighbor & his wife (older retired couple) goes there every year for a week in October (I know this thread is about Orange Beach in November.. But) and a week in March every year and love it.

A guy i used to work with, his parents has a house there, Close to the beach. They rent it out or maybe do like airBNB or something like that for the Summer... Then goes stay there for the last three months of the year.

I've only been to Orange beach during the summer, but it seems to be a popular spot this time of year as well.. I would imagine its mostly older people there, but its probably relaxing.

End of September early October is the best time at the beach. Can still get in, but no kids running around. Dont have to wait an hour at every restaurant and the prices are great.

Destin in October was wonderful. Can get in to any restaurant and the pool at the condo was heated. Easier to book a fishing trip. No kids running around because they’re in school.

Is it a topless beach in the fall/winter?

Going out of town for Thanksgiving is highly underrated. Nothing is crowded, and you don't have to dance around your family's schedule.
