Clyde Edwards-Helaire has shined in the brightest moments, in the biggest games. It can’t be said enough about how much this RB has meant to this offense. From the block on that Texas LB to free up Joe to Jefferson to put that game away, to showing up huge in the close game against Auburn, to arguably one of the greatest RB performances against Bama in the history of college football with 4 TD’s and 180 all-purpose yards - and the biggest play wasn’t even a TD in my opinion, it was the 3rd and long pass he caught from Joe and converted by refusing to go down. This cat has been the most surprising player outside of Burrow, and is going to be cashing a huge paycheck next spring in the draft.

Way to go Clyde

1146 rushing yards
289 receiving yards
16 total TD’s

If he can find the will to stay another year, he might have his chance.

No one is beating Joe Burrow for the Heisman and another candidate for the same team is just going to hurt Joe.

Next year

ETA: not knocking CEH in the least, but you’re not gonna have 2 candidates from the same team, especially a late season dark horse.
The young man is amazing and I’m proud to call him a Tiger but Burrow is just on another level.

Beautiful image my man and Tiger Brother, Man i get goose bumps looking at that. What a Tiger and what a time to be a Tiger fan after the Archer, Hallman, later Dinardo years.

Dude is averaging 7 yards per carry and has destroyed every big opponent we've had. He had 501 rushing/receiving yards and 7 TDs against Bama, Auburn and UF combined. You don't get stronger than that.

A guy has to make plays and CEH does his job. He’s in a great offense doing a spectacular job but Joe makes that offense go.

Only way Clyde is in New York is if he is there to watch his QB hoist the heisman trophy.
