Man this show is good.
A lot of people keep saying wild west films, but I get a code of the samurai kind of vibe.
One poster said something about taking his old boss's beskar..
I think mando purposely shot him there as not to kill.. since he flaunted it earlier in the show..

Best episode yet. I’m really digging this series.

I dunno. He's a bounty hunter in a sea of scoundrels.. he's already got a soft spot for the yodaling...
Maybe when Carl was the only one gloating for him it rang some sincerity

I know I’m about to catch a lot of flack but this show isn’t that great. It’s good and baby yoda is awesome but the dialogue is pretty cheesy and the fight scenes are so over the top unrealistic that it takes me out of the episode. I’m not saying it can’t turn into a really good show but it’s not there yet for me

Agreed, but I think this has more to do with the character than anything else.

I haven't gotten that until this episode. I mean, Mando was getting his arse kicked earlier by the rhino thing and the jawas.

Love the show and episode. Glad I’m not the only one that thought the flying part was cheesy
I also didn’t really like when all of the Mandalorians flew in. It just didn’t work for me. Looked cheesy
Otherwise great

So I added the spoiler tag. I almost did last night, but didn't put anything spoilerish in the OP. Didn't know if people wanted spoilers or not, since i caught it before most of the rest of the crowd (based on no new thread).
Damn, Disney has a good handle on just how far to push things before it gets a TV-MA rating. I guess no gushing blood, no faces of the dead, and no boobs make it safe- but this absolutely isn't too "kid-friendly".
A couple thoughts about the bigger picture... I think we're beginning to see the collaboration between Marvel and Lucasfilm kicking in. Makes sense, it's a similar demographic, and they could certainly help each other. It's already been said that the MCU shows will be relevant to the movies, and I think shows like this will help the SW movies a bunch. You can craft a bigger backstory with the show, and then the movies won't be so confused.

Love that part even though it was predictable from sequences that took place earlier in the episode.

You know there’s a baby alien in the show with telekinetic powers right?

cheesy
I think what people (adults) here failed to acknowledge in this thread is that the series is NOT just intended for adults. They do have think about the younger audience too. And lets be real, kids love cheesy. I think of the big picture and then the cheese doesn't hurt as much.

I didnt want to comment too early
But man...what a way to kick off original disney + content
I would be lying if I wasnt hit in the feels when Pedro Pascal dropped baby Yoda species off for the bounty
When he went back to get him I wasnt even worried.
I was like no way Disney takes the guy I am rooting for and pops his head like a watermelon again.
Love the on the run setup with a tracking system to follow him in space. This is going to be action packed to the finish.
Jon Faverau you deserve some love for a great original script thus far that somewhat redeems the biggest waste of talent from the OG Star Wars aka the 1st Darth Maul...Boba Fett

No issue with being dark. I do have to utilize subtitles though.

This is turning out to be my favorite thing from star wars since the original trilogy
Just fantastic. Agree on the cheesy salute at the end but i figured that was intentional.
Loved the pacing. Got hit in the feels. Baby yodaling is the best. Hands down.
I really wasn't expecting the Guild to show up and save him. It was badass.

Sounded like they said they were relocating
I think it was said they would have to move the "covert" or at least it sounded like covert and I am to lazy to check.
