Why can’t media just accept the fact that WSHH and stuff like the Popeyes chicken sandwich is showing the true nature of the urbanites.

It’s so hard for some white folks to not find a way to apologize and wanna blame other white folks

Its stupid because realistically, its just walmart that kills every neighborhood when it comes to grocery stores. here's an example of two black neighborhoods in new orleans gentilly terrace area (off i10) - has a walmart - has mcdonalds, BK, rallys, taco bell, canes, etc - winn dixie shut down because WM ate all its customers

Bad example. That was the worst Winn Dixie in America before Wal-Mart even got there.

There’s a Rouse’s and a Canseco’s in Gentilly. Granted they’re both not as nice as their Mid-City counterparts, likely because of the clientele, but Gentilly ain’t a food desert.

Publix in Dunwoody is pretty much $75 just to park. Wendy's is a lot better and cheaper than most of the crap in there anyway.

i mean it was bad, but it was the only option. WM came and it went to complete shite and not a single soul went there. Rouses and Canseco are a little deeper in

But look across neighborhoods in america. Areas with Walmarts tend to have less grocery stores. Its one of the big reasons why Belle Chasse promptly rejected that and followed by rejecting WD when they tried to expand where the current YMCA is.

The article basically goes one to bash Popeye's for allegedly marketing more aggressively to poor black neighborhoods.

No it didn’t.

You didn’t get the Cronuts point.

Or the story about the murder.

Such bullshite. The recipies were the inspiration of a poor white high school dropout who became rich and famous. ALL stripes of Louisianans ate fried chicken, red beans and dirty rice, not just blacks. When did the AAs appropriate our food and culture?

You know it is easy to read the article.

Is inability to click links also not a strength?

Ole Bob never commits to anything... just claims everyone is wrong.

How do you feel about the article, Ebineezer?

areas where healthy options like grocery stores are few and far between, and fast food restaurants like Wendy&aposs, McDonald&aposs, and Burger King dot every corner. This constricted, unhealthy food market is a direct result of racial segregation.

No, it's because blacks tend to steal grocery stores blind who have the misfortune of locating themselves in the "community."

Bob's wife's boyfriend gave him a great book on race dynamics in the food industry. He's just sharing what he's gleaned from the book.
