They are in the arse-end Football Conference so the sailing should be paltry. Only 2 teams have a real shot and one just beat them.

I doubt Kansas City will beat them either regardless of their defense improving lately.

Road will go through Gillette Stadium and Brady will sleep well next to the best poon we will ever see tonight smiling.

When you know you have 6 wins in the bag before the season even begins you rest easy.

Patriots are as likely to lose their next 4 games as they are to win all 4. They are no lock for the #1 seed. It's a difficult stretch of games.

AFC North, except for the Pats, is a weak NFL division

Pats are in the AFC East.

I think patriots defense is still very good. Baltimore is just a different look they hadnt seen (belicheck will be ready next time believe that). But the offense has major issues. Run game is avg at best. Wrs are garbage outside of edleman, no tight end, and brady doesnt trust any of them outside of edleman.... wich is a big deal because he is holding onto the ball too long, and this has been bradys bread and butter over his career, getting the ball out fast. That is gone now with his 2nd guessing and causing problems on offense

Holy hell its 1 game. I’m not a patriots fan, but this is the NFL and it’s one game. There’s not a huge difference between the best and worst teams. What the Pat’s D has done is impressive no matter their schedule and they didn’t make their schedule. It’s not like a college team from a weak conference that schedules multiple cupcakes in addition to their easy conference.

Pats D is likely still very good but maybe not as good as it has been.

It is though. Yeah, the formula is set beforehand, but they feed the data into a computer until they have a schedule that works for all scenarios. That's all I meant.

I was under the impression it was done by hand. Seriously. I thought the NFL has a master scheduler that spends a ton of time organizing it all.

People should stop saying this. There are some God awful teams in the NFL this year. Pats and 49ers have feasted on them like any good team should.

They have plenty of leeway to take a few mulligans. They have a very good defense that likely isn’t anywhere near an all time great yet that’s likely still good enough to get them to the super bowl.

They generally transform and grow as a team throughout the season better than 99 % of the nfl does.

Seriously. There are 8 teams right now that have 2 wins or less through 9 weeks. That’s awful, and 1/4 of the league.

They have played in a pretty trash division for over a decade (other than a couple of decent season by the Jets quite a while back). So they have had 6 games a season against bad to barely mediocre teams. Think about the QBs in that divison over the past 12-15 years.

Yet, they somehow still make Super Bowls and/or AFC Champ games on the reg. So they are def very, very good. Every year almost. Otherwise they would have a gaudy regular season and crap out in the first divisional playoff game.

Offense had only scored 30 or more once in 7 games this season. They scored 30 last night with only 2 drives in the 2nd half

Who’s more overrated?

Giselle? Or the patriots defense before the Baltimore game?

I vote Giselle

Miami Buffalo and the Jets twice.. yeah that’s garbage alone. Balti is their toughest game
On the road I believe. They have KC at home.
