I thought the story might be of interest to some people,

Well that’s utterly ridiculous.
How so?

She might not be worth going to war over, but claiming that a political murder affects no one but the perpetrator is just down right dumb. I swear, the mental gymnastics some of y’all go through are absolutely astounding.
I never said it affected no one. But when it’s published stateside and pushed by the MSM I get that uncanny feeling that the drums they are a beatin

Maybe NATO can do something about it

I can't even bring myself to care about the lives of everyone who dies in America... and you're wanting me to give a frick about the lives of people overseas?
It's not that I'm heartless, it's just that no human can genuinely care about the deaths of everyone, everywhere. Those that claim to universally care, are just pieces of shite who are virtue signaling.

This is a negative aspect of a tribalist mindset. Even if far disconnected from individuals such as another nation’s citizens, compassion and awareness for innocent lives lost is still important.
When it’s your blood, sweat and tears shed, maybe you will feel differently. Unfortunately, the modern political situation with a complicit media makes doing what needs to be done impossible. So unless we are willing to give the military the authority without political intervention we need to get the hell out of these never ending wars.

Unless a poster is posting outrage from the very grounds of Syria with a rifle in their hands. Their outrage is faux bullshite and they should cut the shite.

I don't think she was killed because she was championing Christians. The fact that she was Kurdish seems to be the important factor.

The US military has to fight all injustice around the world!

This, is the pertinent point in the whole scenario.
"He that leadeth into captivity, goeth into captivity"; a quote from the Bible, Book of Revelation...therefore, *suspect*, and the idea that the things which we support, or deny...won't come back to haunt us in our future. This is a binary scenario...either what we believe and act on - or don't - per Biblical/God-based Paradigm will indeed determine our future...or it won't. The Good Lord said that if we "deny Him (Jesus)...I will deny you".
The Turks and the Kurds are where we will soon be; 'Hatfields and McCoys'. That Lady was like Vietnamese plain folk...when the Viet Cong entered the village...you had to choose. You were either for them...or against them. Bible says the same thing..."he that is not for me...is against me".
There are but 2 Ideological poles. One believes that the needs of the Group, must be met (paid for) by Group. They believe this is a Moral Principle impetus. Marxist Ideology.
The other Group believes that their Absolute Rights come from God, and that they should not be force by the Marxist Group, to surrender the fruits of their labors to those in the opposing Group who are essentially civically-irresponsible, immoral in many cases, and relatively unmotivated/unproductive. The God-given Rights Group further believes that the "mob rule" Democracy (pure, majority rule version) should not be able to employ Democratic Government, to essentially confiscate the fruits of their labors to meet the needs of irresponsible/immoral folk and therein, rob them of the kind of 'Middle Class' lifestyle that the Ruling Class Elites (Marxist of Capitalist) have and will enjoy.
I would like to know if Barack Obama or Nancy Pelosi or Robert de Niro is willing to stand in the same healthcare line that all outside of the Ruling Class will. If not, then they are deceitful, virtue-signaling hypocrites who want to not only enjoy the affluence of their own ability, but the praise of being 'compassionate' and 'sharing'...as well. Screw them to hell.

If this Lady was righteous in her heart, and a "blessed by the peacemakers" individual...but caught up in a binary choice Ideological war scenario...then she is a martyr for Christ (Greater Love), no matter what her surface Religion was. She'll get her reward, if so. But only if there is God, true Justice, and eternal life hereafter. I don't know, and don't need to know. If it's not that, then we are all gone forever...and none of this matters one whit. Regardless of what we believe.
We had better worry about our own scenario. It's coming here...fast. We are all going to be forced to choose. One might consider educating their self as to that choice.
